I love this product! Will definitely be ordering more once I use up the rest of my bottle. This is a wonderful light and natural feeling massage oil that doesn't do that icky "little pieces that ball up" thing lotion does when you're beginning to rub in the last of it. The scent is barely noticible, but I'm perfectly happy sacrificing scent in order to have the benefit of an edible oil. And this is a very palatable oil, it's light and tasty and I don't mind having it in my mouth at all. It's not like other edible oils I've tasted that were unnaturally thick and oily and overly sweet and too strongly flavored, and that I hated getting any at all on my tongue. Also, I want to mention that I use this as a personal lubricant, and it's perfect for that purpose, although I don't think it's advertised as such. In general, I'm so pleased to have chosen this option for massage oil, I feel that I couldn't ask for more.

Smell reminds me of berry pancake syrup. It's kind of a boysenberry scent. Good for massage but not so much intimate time. Scent is not sexy, in my opinion and boyfriend. Its bright, soft, and smells like boysenberry pie or jam. Almond oil is great for nourishing skin. Smells natural, not fake at all. Taste is very slight...cant really place it.

This is a good massage oil!! Unfortunately I was not able to use it on a person (yet) but I still have the oil! When you open it, right off the bat, you can smell the berries that Maple created with this oil. The only reason I give this a 4 star (due to my taste buds, some people might agree with me) is because of the taste. Granted since this oil is edible, in order to make both partners happy I would like the taste to be better. The taste (to me) this not what you are expected. You get a very oily taste that has a hint of berries at the end (but not really). If this oil truly tasted like berries, this massage oil will be enjoyable and amazing for the people and this would get a 5 stars. Maybe Maple will see this review and try to work on a massage oil that uses real berries so that you can taste and smell the wonderfulness. Overall, a wonderful massage oil. Thanks Maple Holistics!!

The almond scented one is amazing but the berry one smells like an ashtray full of raisins. The quality is still there with the oil obviously but its not a good smell.

This is very good massage oil. I didn't taste it, but in all other ways it's a winner. It goes on warmish, so the person getting the massage doesn't jump and it's not necessary to rub it between your palms before applying it, it has a light and pleasant smell that's not overpowering of car-deodorizer-like, it stays consistent for a long time, neither oily nor overly absorbed. I really can't think of any way to improve it. Most important, my massage subject loved it.

The oil itself feels great and moisturizes as advertised. It does soak in pretty quickly, however, so prolonged massages will need re-application which adds to the strength of the scent. The Tropical Passions scent isn't very common with massage oils, and I appreciate the variety the manufacturer has given. To top it all off, I got no complaints from my spouse. Finally, the price is very affordable and the 8oz bottle is bigger than many other brands. Win-Win in my opinion.

Not only does this oil have a fantastic fragrance, but the feel is silky smooth and works wonders when I need a serious back massage! I have chronic pain, many types actually, and this product makes it much easier for my husband to work on my muscles! It also seems to impart a lovely gentle heat as he works with it, which coupled w/the fragrance, is very relaxing. He also likes it so much that he helps me more often, says it makes massaging me easier! Can't beat that!

Oh. So soft and lasts forever! Yes it’s flavoured, but I don’t recommend tasting it lol. Still 5/5 stars!
