ProNourish Nutritional Drink, Chocolate, 8 fl oz, 24 Count

What I was most concerned about buying off of Amazon, was the expiration date, given if I wanted the chocolate I had to buy four 6-packs. As I don't drink this daily, but only when IBS is acting up, that amount could last a while. So I plunged ahead and bought them, hoping they would have a good, long expiration date on them. I was happy to see that while I purchased them towards the end of August, 2018, the exp. date on all four 6-packs is not until May 2019. The four of them came in one box, I imagine how they're delivered to a store. I used to buy this at Kroger or Walmart, but neither of them carry it anymore, thus my looking to Amazon. I'm not sure why the brick/mortar stores are no longer carrying it, but I just hope that Amazon continues to have it for sale. Chocolate flavor is good to me, Vanilla is just ok, but have never tried the Strawberry-Banana as that combo. isn't always the best taste. I keep mine on the pantry shelf, and have a few in the fridge for when I need one as I prefer it cold. My husband drinks his Boost warm and doesn't seem to mind, so taste preference. One thing for him is that he has to watch his Boost consumption as it can lead to getting backed up, thus my drinking ProNourish instead. So far, no problems in that area!

This tastes very good - like a soft, creamy, chocolate milkshake.This also markets itself as a "digestive wellness drink" in that it's suitable for lactose intolerant people. That may well be. It's also gluten free. And it's marketed by "Nestle HealthScience." That's on the label. "HealthScience."While this drink may have some health benefits -- 15g protein and 10 - 35% "Daily Value" of various vitamins and minerals -- it's not a perfect health drink. It not only contains sugar (6g a bottle) and various artificial ingredients, it also contains sucralose (aka Splenda, which some scientists believe is harmful to your health.As for its being gluten free, some experts believe the whole gluten free fade is a scam. Yes, a tiny percentage of the population is allergic to gluten. If that's you (and you should know if that includes you), then yes, you must avoid gluten. But most people gain no benefits from avoiding gluten.Overall, this is a tasty, chocolatey drink with some beneficial ingredients. But its sucralose content makes it less than perfectly healthful.

Product is very helpful for 80+ year old friend. Maintains weight and nutritional input without excessive sugar or digestive upset that comes with other similar products.Only complaint: I have subscribed to receive two four-packs each month. The two manufacturer cartons (labeled as fragile) are placed inside of a LARGE Amazon box with no indication of the fragile content. Each delivery so far has arrived with crushed ends and internal beverage sleeves cracked open.

I bought the chocolate flavor because I had already tried the strawberry/banana one and liked it. And because I love chocolate thought this would be such a treat. I just don't care for it. Does not have the flavor I was hoping it had.

As far as I know this product is no longer available. I’m very disappointed by that because this was the best for my health and the test was the best I’ve had. If this ever comes back let me know I’ll be first in line to purchase it!

Despite reading reviews here, I thought I would try this product. I bought a six pack at my local pharmacy. Within 30 minutes, I regretted my decision. It hurt in places that were unusual for me and caused all my IBS symptoms. I have 5 bottles left to remind me that not everything touted as safe will necessarily be so for me.

If you have ever had ENSURE it tastes just like that. Perfect for someone who has celiac or who has to be on the FODMAP diet. I myself am using it for the FODMAP diet. It works great and do far my intestines love it lol

It's delicious. Issue with the way it was shipped. Very long (twice the size of the product box) box - hard to maneuver, heavy to carry. Could have fit in a much smaller box and cost alot less to ship!
