Review: Amazing but weakens over time - UPDATE 10/2023: the shade weakens after a few months and it doesn’t hold onto the collapsing shade properly. So it’ll just randomly pop off. We had to buy Velcro strips to get it to stay. I will say it provides a little area of storage for light items at the bottom- which is nice considering the Doona has like no storage space. Living in Southern California, the sun is intense all year round. This shade attachment is amazing. I’ll be honest it took me longer than it should have to install it but once it’s on, we don’t take it off. It’s well made. It protects baby from sun. Couldn’t ask for more!

I read reviews on “off-brand” protectors and became hesitant to purchase after realizing not many were happy with the quality. Those reviews pushed me to purchase this Doona cover to ensure the protector would function properly. I am happy to say it was the best! My baby was happy as could be. I was able to keep him out of direct sunlight and we had zero issues, it fit like a glove on our Doona stroller, it was easy to attach, did exactly what it needed to do to protect our baby and was well worth it. I’m glad I did my research and found something that would 100% work as described, it functions as intended.
