Alright but missing important feature
Having no cue/master knob on a controller this modern is pretty much a joke .I have heard people say that the feature isn’t on cheaper controllers anyway , well it is, it’s on the 400 flx4 numarks even Hercules inpulse .It’s a simple feature to use when beat matching to be able to hear as much master volume as you want while cueing from each channel .If you are good at best matching it shouldn’t be much of a problem although it’s still annoying , but if you are starting out I would not recommend it for this reason .There is a switch to activate master in the phones while you are cueing but there is only one volume knob for the phones so if you press 1 for deck 1 then master you are getting equal volume from the master and deck 1 .Makes no sense and I don’t understand why such a simple feature isn’t added .The rest of the controller is pretty decent , paddles feel a bit cheapish but if you use the effect paddles while playing with filters you can do some decent stuff .You are forced to get serato pro imo too as it’s pointless having only 4 effects and no record feature , what’s the point in having the controller if you can’t use all the features ?Personally I prefer record box and I reckon this controller would be much better with record box .
