Deceit price I have ordered this before.

This is my first time purchasing incense, so I didn't really know to expect, but I didn't need to be an expert to tell you that this was a less than stellar experience. Of the 6 boxed batches (I purchased the (3) Lemongrass and (3) Eucalyptus 6-pack), only one of them actually smells pleasant. By that I mean, one Eucalyptus of the 3 that I received smells pleasant. The others smell far too artificial and "chemically" as other reviewers put it, but all to very different degrees. I didn't think anything of it when I opened the first Lemongrass tube and the first Eucalyptus tube and found the interior packaging different. I thought that was maybe just the different scents needing to be packaged differently (One was in a plastic sleeve while the other was in wax paper). I don't think that is the case. After opening all 6 of them to stash in various parts of my house, it seems to be all over the place - wax paper, printed wax paper, plastic sleeves, etc. Why does this matter you may ask? Because it tells me that these are from either different batches or different manufacturers entirely. I'm a little disappointed, but as the saying goes 'You get what you pay for'. I will work my way through the boxes that don't smell particular bad, trash the rest, and look elsewhere for my incense. The holder is cute! Cheap, but cute! I don't fully understand it's purpose beyond holding the incense at an angle to help it burn because any ash that falls doesn't fall in the holder but off to the side and gets all over my tables. I think this is because the hole to put in the stick is way too big and it then sits at an angle rather than straight over the holder. I didn't have an ash issue with the first incense I tried (received as a gift from a friend because she knows I love eucalyptus!) so I wasn't prepared for the mess these would make. If you're a college kid on a budget who needs something to cover up the smell of old pizza boxes and mildewing ramen cups, it's better than letting those smells linger but not by much.
