Quality screws , 15mm socket required , worked well holding a 100mm to into my decking subframe , good value in reality

The zinc coating on these screws is quite lustrous & deep. I bought these coach screws to bolster a failing wooden railing on a decking platform, so far so good.The threading is coarse which is what you want for a strong connection. The hex head stayed unmarred when torqued indicating the metal is of decent quality.

These seem well made. I put a lot of pressure on them because I was lifting wooden posts out of the ground so I bent them but this is not the intended use so can't expect any different. Would recommend
