Great styling powder for men. It is a little pricey you may not want to buy it for a regular use.

FINAL UPDATE! Purchased March 27, 2024, used daily until today April 17, 2025! I clearly love this product. Many reviews were commenting that the bottle was "half full." Yes this is true, but not because they're being cheap. You need to have room in the bottle for this to shake and airate... otherwise it could clump. That said... this product only needs 1 or 2 light taps and it does the trick. I have never used hair powder before this, and I'm sold. I don't think I'll ever mess with mousse, gel, spray, maybe even pomade... ever again! UPDATE: 3 months of daily use and it's still plenty. I'm telling you, a little goes a long way. It makes your hair look natural, with volume, AND moldable. (This is the only product that seems to to this effectively.) It takes a little getting used to. I apply it directly to my hair. Also, as my hair grows out there are parts that stick out more than a small amount of power can handle. Rather than wasting more powder and making my hair crunchy, I use a little pomade. (So I guess all these products still have their uses.) Overall, I really like the way my hair looks... like there is no product at all. Update: 4 months now still plenty. Update: 7 months and I think its running low, but I expect at least another month or more. I mentioned the powder and how great it was at my salon and they said... "oh YEAH! Powder is great for adding texture." Which... I guess is what this does, but in a way that holds.

Interesting stuff. I have used 3 other hair powders, Nishman light, Level3 and Osis dust it. Nishman was too light for my thin hair so I went to Level3 which was stronger but I still had to search. I found Osis dust it. This stuff is strong and I like it. One last look so I purchased Slick Gorilla. I had read different reviews one said it's stronger than the Osis other reviews the opposite so I was a little confused and I purchased it and the first thoughts after using is it's not as strong as OSIS it's weaker but still has good hold I'd say it's somewhere between Osis and Levl3 but it's got an interesting characteristic to it, it just seems like you can keep adjusting it and it stays even hours later and it's about half the price of Osis dust it. Let me try Osis tomorrow after washing my hair and I'll report back if I find things different. Here's a tip. Do Not sprinkle any kind of hair powder on top of your hair. It'll weigh your hair down and make things more difficult to style. Best thing sprinkle the powder on the roots of your hair then massage it around on the roots. I part my hair in 5 different places and with a pump spray applying onto the roots and massaging on the roots. Works great...

I got one bottle and it lasted me almost a year. A little goes a long way for the texture powder. I really enjoyed this over gel as this powder didnt leave your head dry or itchy. Easy to use, Would definitely buy again

Had high hopes for this product - I have mostly fine hair, ~3" long on the top, and I wanted something that would give my hair volume without weighing it down with product. The first time I tried this, I shook a healthy amount directly into the top of my hair, mussed it around, and it mostly held in the way I wanted - volume, good shape, natural color and look. I tried a couple times after that, and couldn't replicate the results from the first time. I tried shaking the powder onto my head like the first time, but couldn't get it to hold (and ended up with powder on my shirt). I rubbed it on my hands and tried working into my hair, but I had to do so many rounds and it still didn't hold where I wanted it to (loose hairs on the side and bangs). Perhaps my hands have too much natural oil that's absorbing too much powder before it gets to my head. It was worth a shot to try a new thing, and I'll keep experimenting with the rest of the bottle, so we'll see if I figure it out, but don't see myself repurchasing this product or any powder hair product in general. A couple notes: 1) I went for a run after putting this in my hair, and it did not hold up to the heat/sweat/exertion 2) As soon as water touches this (e.g. shower), my hair turned into a gross sticky congealed mat. It wasn't immediately water soluble like normal products, I had to gently lather in the shampoo to wash it out. Would be a bit concerned/curious about what would happen in the rain...

My daily hair powder, makes my hair look just the way I like, natural and tall. Unlike gel that makes your hair too stiff and shiny.

It was a gift to my grandson.. he really wanted this product he said it’s ease to use and it works styling his hair

Excellent: 1) the volume is smaller than I expected, but I haven't ran out of it after two months use 2) the product works as described, easy to apply and style your hair with it 3) it's not as sticky and smelly as hair gel and hair wax 4) the downside of this product is the time for shipment. It takes about two weeks to ship it to Canada (maybe because it was from UK?)

I bought the Slick Gorilla hair styling powder for my sons and my husband and they all absolutely love it. It gives their hair great volume and texture without making it look greasy or heavy. The finish is natural and matte, which looks much better than shiny gels or waxes. It is really easy to use, just a small amount shaken onto the roots and worked through with fingers. It holds the style well throughout the day but still allows the hair to move naturally. They also like that it does not leave any sticky residue on their hands. This has definitely become a regular in our house now. Great product, works well on different hair types and keeps their styles looking fresh all day.

Sono della generazione del gel usato senza limiti. Tra abuso di prodotti e genetica, con il tempo i miei capelli hanno iniziato a indebolirsi, assottigliarsi e cadere. Ho quindi cambiato look e, su consiglio del parrucchiere, ho scoperto le polveri volumizzanti: è stato subito amore. Non trovandole facilmente al supermercato, mi sono buttato su Amazon. Questa polvere è una delle prime che ho provato anni fa. All'inizio la scelsi per il prezzo rispetto ad altre (non aveva molte recensioni). Nel tempo, ho continuato a ricomprarla. Le recensioni positive parlano chiaro, ma per me conta soprattutto una cosa: funziona davvero. Non ho mai sentito il bisogno di provare alternative. Fissa bene ma permette di modificare l’acconciatura in qualsiasi momento. L’effetto visivo è naturale: capelli morbidi, pieni e in ordine. Al tatto risultano morbidi, ma attenzione a non esagerare, perché troppa polvere può renderli un po’ crespi (solo al tatto, non alla vista). Consiglio d’uso: applicatela sempre su capelli asciutti. Io capovolgo la confezione e do 4-5 colpetti direttamente sulla testa, poi distribuisco con le dita come durante uno shampoo e infine modello i capelli come preferisco. Curiosamente, il risultato migliore si vede il giorno dopo: i capelli diventano ancora più naturali, morbidi e mantengono perfettamente la piega. È un prodotto che ho consigliato a molti amici e nessuno si è mai pentito. Consigliatissima.

Je suis un homme, avec des cheveux mi-long et une perte de densité vers le vertex. J'utilise cette poudre pour donner du volume aux cheveux, et ça fonctionne très bien. Et en prime, ça peut remplacer la cire pour la tenue de la coiffure.
