CLIF Bar Energy Bars/Nutritional Protein Bar, Source of Plant Based Protein, Crunchy Peanut Butter, 12 x 68g

Ive tried quite a lot of oat based snack bars found in most mainstream supermarkets and many of them despite boasting about all the 100% natural and organic ingredients that they use are either way too sweet, taste like plastic or arent very filling at all! This is my first time trying out CLIF bars but Ive known about them for many years through the various cycling groups im affiliated with but never bought in to the hype till they went on offer and I decided to try them out. Choc Chip seems to be the most popular pick so thats what I went with and I can honestly say that it is GREAT. Id go as far as saying its an absolute GAMECHANGER for me personally having tried so many oat based snack bars till this point in time! The taste is VERY VERY NEUTRAL. There is no synthetic aroma or taste from this product. It is also not very sweet or overly sweet at all despite containing 18g of sugar per bar. 18g is still a fair bit so you wouldnt want to be throwing a lot of these down as if its the final meal you're ever going to eat. Its not too dry and does not require any water to help wash it down with which is great. It just melts in the mouth. These are oh so filling if you eat the entire bar. So I highly suggest breaking it in to halves. But if you consume an entire bar. Its likely to keep you full or comfortable for more than a good few hours. These are best consumed on long hikes, marathons, bike rides or any outdoor activity where youre not sure if youre going to have a moment to eat a good lunch. This 68g bar will have you covered. In future. Im more likely to buy the box of smaller bars instead of the 68g. But at least I can carry two bars when out on a fishing trip and not have to worry about food.

Best energy/protein bar on market, taste great too

Cliff bars are tasty filling and a great boost of energy.

These are great for those with a whey allergy like myself or vegans. Tasty. Kind of drying but not surprising. I give it a 4* (if I could it would be a 3.5) due to a couple of things. 1 Price point. It’s not affordable, like other vegan protein is priced up for that very reason. It should be the same price if not cheaper as it’s whey cousin. Since the raw ingredients are cheaper. But the branding and I assume processing costs may affect it. I would buy way more if it was either cheaper or had more in a box. 2 The taste is a little sweet. Perhaps I am only noticing this now because I am eating cleaner. It’s definitely a firm chewy texture which I don’t hate -unless I’m hungry. Unfortunately they no longer stock these in my local Asda, which was the same cost singular purchases so there isn’t really a benefit of buying in bulk if it’s in yours. Get your steps in! Unless it’s purely for ease of access. The packaging of the box is flimsy but it doesn’t matter at all since the bars are firm and I haven’t received a botched package yet

I love a cliff bar. Tasty without being too sweet. Handy to keep in your bag when hiking. The multipack is good value.

Love these bars! They are the perfect pick-me-up during a busy day. I use them all the time, and they are so satisfying each time! They are the only nutrition bar I've had that is both tasty and filling.

Clif energy bars deliver a solid energy boost and come in a variety of tasty flavors, the chocolate almond fudge are the ones I purchased. However, they don’t fare well in warm/hotweather—melting and becoming sticky, which makes them messier to handle. I also find them quite dense and tough to chew and swallow, especially during intense activity. That said, their nutrient content and convenience still make them a decent option for cooler-day fueling or post-workout recovery.

Barrette molto buone, le avevo già provate e mi sono trovato molto bene, sia come gusto sia come consistenza. Le mangio volentieri prima o dopo aver fatto attività fisica. Do 3 stelle perché invece di 12 pezzi ne ho trovati 11 ( la scatola era chiusa con un pezzo di scotch).

Il prodotto in sé lo conosco ed è ottimo, unico appunto che ho comprato una confezione da 12 pz. dello stesso gusto da alternare con altre barrette e con mia sorpresa la scadenza consigliata è tra poco più di un mese...

Super leckerer Energieriegel, mit Protein. Leider hat er relativ viel Zucker. Für jeden, den das allerdings nicht stört und cruchy Macadamia mag, ist der Riegel eine gute Wahl. Schmeckt sehr gut und ist sättigend. Die Konsistenz ist biegsam, ein bisschen klebrig und ein wenig crunchy. Sehr zu empfehlen. :)
