CheongKwanJang Makes the best red ginseng products in the world and I’ve had a jelly kind in the tube to improve my immune system and it was well worth every penny. This Candy kind does have a minimum to no ginseng content. Only 1% so I have no expectation of getting ginseng nutrients but the minty taste does help with my breathing just like hall but without bad after taste. Overall I’ll stick with the regular tube jelly or liquid to get the best effects from the red ginseng but the quality backs this throat Candy.

Taste just like normal cough candy but not too sweet.

The CheongKwanJang - Renesse Korean Red Ginseng Throat Candy is a translucent brown candy.The menthol seems to be a little stronger than other cough drops. It is minty with a little sweetness.There is only a slight hint of ginseng at about halfway, it is not that noticeable with the dominating minty taste.It is effective in soothing the throat, the coughing subsided while having this.

This candy is very well packaged, it comes in a nice baby blue tin that is very cute. The candies are hard candies with very strong mint flavor that is really throat clearing. However, I could hardly taste any ginseng from it. I think it's a good candy but it really tastes just like any other cough candies you can get at the drugstore since it doesn't really have any ginseng flavor. The only thing that makes it better than other candies is the nice tin can that can be reused as a tea container.

A healthy mouth lodgender

Works just as good as other brand lozenges, and tastes similar to standard cough drop types. It comes in a nice bright turquoise tin, easy to open and close with no dings or bents, and each one is individually wrapped, easy to open wrapper and does what it’s intended for, it soothes sore throat and helps suppress cough, and with that, I would recommend.From the date of my review, mine has an expiration date of September 2024.

This ginseng lozange is a health food, really. It tastes medicinal as ginseng normally does, so it's really an acquired taste. This is a solid product from a well-known brand in Korea, and therefore, a box of these lozanges would make for a great gift to older generations who appreciate the taste and health benefits of ginseng.
