Bought 2 of them to bring home frozen and chilled food from supermarkets, it works well, also used on a Friday or Saturday night to keep a takeaway hot .Is going to be used over the summer as a picnic basket.It folds up to completely flat and takes up no room in the boot of my carDefinitely recommend it

With the 'free' bags in shops now starting to cost more and more, I find my car boot filling up with a lot of reusable bags. I have been missing some insulated bags for chilled and frozen foods though, so seeing these available, I thought they could be a good option. The bags themselves are thin and lightweight with a padded foil liner (transparent plastic coated inside for strength and durability). Being thinner they do fold into a smaller area when not in use. The outside is a fabric style with handles on all sides (the two large sides have larger carry handles).Size wise, they are not massive but are perfect for smaller shopping trips, although they are not that tall, so it wasn't possible to get larger bottles of milk in without putting on its side.With two bags in the pack, it is possible to use one for chilled and one for frozen foods and the zipped top means they keep the food frozen/chilled for longer too.I would caution that these are not designed as cool bags for day trips etc. They are thin and have minimal insulation, being designed for shopping trips and not keeping food cooler for hours. For what they are designed for they are great though. If one was available taller rather than wider, I wouldn't hesitate to give 5*.

The media could not be loaded.  Perfect size for freezer shopping, cold food shopping or even a picnic.No one wants to carry a big freezer bag full to the top…. It’s so heavy. These are the perfect size to carry by yourself but as there are handles all the way around it you can share the load with someone else.I fit quite a lot in mine, two 2l tubs of ice cream, three 2.5l tubs of ice cream, four boxes of Ice lollies (I just love ice cream), a pack of frozen croissants, 3 packs of different types of frozen potato and a pack of chicken burgers. The bag wasn’t packed to bursting, the zip easily flowed closed and open so there may have been a little more room for one more item.These bags can also be used for picnics, keeping the food as cool as it went in the bag long enough for you to get to your destination or for taking hot food to an evening party on the beach so you can have fun without having to bbq when you get there…… maybe one for the hot stuff and one for the salads and cold drinks……now that’s a good idea, a very good idea……….. I’m off to plan a beach party…..bye ;)
