Does more than advertised
All I wanted was a tool to remove my 20-30mmHg compression knee-high hose, and everything looked so expensive. I bought this, knowing I could return it if it didn’t do the job. But it does! Sometimes it takes a couple of minutes, but I haven’t had it fail yet. And, it turns out the shoehorn is good for helping me put on my slippers. The cherry on top, though, is that the same part of the tool that helps remove hose can also help push off the elastic that’s at the bottom of many sweatpants’ legs, making them so much easier and quicker to take off!.It is plastic, so it’s slightly flexible. I’ve never felt like it was going to crack or break though.I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again

WORKS WELL BUT THE PLASTIC TOP SECTION SNAPPED OFF
THE PRODUCT WORKS WELL BUT THE UPPER PLASTIC SECTION THAT YOU HOLD WHILE TAKING OFF A COMPRESSION STOCKING SNAPPED OFF. IT HAPPENED AFTER A MONTH OR SO AND IT'S THE SECOND TIME IT'S HAPPENED. APPARENTLY BECAUSE OF THE DOWNWARD PRESSURE USED TO REMOVE A COMPRESSION SOCK, EVENTUALLY THE UPPER SECTION WEAKENS AND ULTIMATELY BREAKS OFF. IT SHOULD BE DESIGNED WITH A FLAT RATHER THAN CURVED TOP SO THAT THERE'S NO BEND OR "GIVE" WHEN YOUR PUSHING DOWN TO REMOVE THE SOCK. PERHAPS A STAINLESS STEEL VERSION OF THIS WOULD DO THE TRICK.

Great value
I use it every day

Not very useful
Too bulky to use. Blade is too thick for a shoehorn and too bulky and wrong shape to use as a sock remover, which is why I got it. Not useful for me.

The best so far......
If your ankles swell like mine then this device will need help to push the sock over the ankle. If normal ankles then no problem. This device does very well considering the swollen ankle problem. I've tried several sock removers and all can't deal with swollen ankles very well. This device is the best so far........
