Overall A Great Chair
This chair is super comfortable and stylish! Great support and comfort for my 8 hour work from home days and for gaming at night. I love that it's wide enough that I can sit cross-legged. I only dinged a star because the fabric pulls very easily, so if you have cats, beware. The dark grey color definitely helps to hide the pulls. I got this chair on sale for around $174...I wouldn't buy it again for more that given the fabric issue. It's also too wide to fit under my desk but that's not really and issue for me.Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase. Fast shipping, well-packaged, and fairly simple to put together alone. Great desk chair - arm chair hybrid.

Comfortable, good for short people
I looked at a ton of chairs trying to find a balance between looks and comfort. After reading hundreds of reviews, I settled on this one. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase but there's a few cons to consider. I'll list my pros and cons to help others decide if this chair seems like a good fit for them.Pros:- COMFORTABLE! I wfh (8-10 hour days) like many people right now and it's comfortable enough that I forget I'm sitting in it. A chair you don't think about is a good chair!- I'm Short (4'11) and this chair has a wide range of heights it can be situated at. The highest point is quite high and the lowest my feet can reach the group comfortably. I keep it on a midway setting and use the wheels are footrests to be at the optimal height for my desk. An added bonus is I have a sit-stand desk so if I have the desk in the stand position and set the chair at its highest setting I can take the occasional sit rest and not have to adjust the desk. An unexpected pleasant feature!- I'm fat (200lbs) and the size of the seat comfortably accommodates my ample bottom. I don't feel squeezed into it by any means. That said, someone who is heavy but isn't also petit might have issues with the width. The seat is probably wide enough for a skinny person to sit cross legged in.- it has nice lumbar support. I can lean back and feet supported.Cons:- The biggest con for me is the lack of arm rests. I thought from the pictures that the sides would come up high enough to be arm rests like those on a chair but they do not. It was disappointing but I find I'm comfortable resting my arms in my lap so it hasn't been bothering me much.- While it was quick to put together it was difficult since things don't line up especially well. It was a two person job while I compressed the chair frame to get things to line up enough for my husband to screw the base of the chair together. The wheels also required a lot of force to get them on the stand. I suspect this may be why some people's wheels broke. If you order this and you're a petite person you might consider calling a strong friend for help.- it advertises having a tilt function (unless I'm not understanding what "swivel tilt" means) but its tilt is negligible. It's maybe enough to give you some mild flexibility when stretching but it isn't much, really. For me the pros outweigh the cons considerably and I'm very happy with the way it looks. I ordered the light gray and it matches my desk perfectly. I'll likely be moving into a small apartment soon and if my computer desk setup winds up in the living room I wouldn't be embarrassed having this chair in there.

In love with this chair
I’ve had a desk job for 10+ years and none of the fancy chairs did anything for my back. I’d still end up with mid to late day back pain. This chair is insanely comfortable considering how stylish it is. the only negative is that it’s too tall for me so I have to use a foot rest. I’m 5’3” and with the chair all the way down my feet are a few inches off the ground.

Loved this chair! Unfortunately had to return because it was too tall for my desk.
Such a great chair, and I’m so disappointed it didn’t work for my desk! As you can see in the picture it was just a tad bit too tall for me to sit comfortably, I had almost zero room for my legs to fit under the desk when pushed in. I even tried to remove the wheels (but it scratched my floors) and I ordered a new set of studs to protect the floor - but wasn’t meant to be. Would definitely recommend measuring your desk + the chair ahead of time to make sure it fits. Other than that, the color was lovely, it was comfortable, and I like the inclusion of memory foam.

Classy and Comfy
I work from home and my office is in my main living area. I wanted a chair that complements my decor but is also comfortable enough to withstand working on a computer 8 hrs a day. This chair is so pretty and so comfortable. I am not a small person. I’m 5’9” and weigh more than I will admit :) This chair accommodates me well!

Nice looking but cushioning is harder than I anticipated
This chair is nice looking and was very easy to put together - I put it together myself in about 10 minutes. Wasn't sure to give this chair 3 or 4 stars... so given the price I gave it 3. If it would be easier to return I'm not sure whether I would have kept it. The cushions are harder than I would have liked, but I guess that keeps me from sitting too long as I move to standing position when my rear starts hurting from the hard seating. I thought that a Serta chair would be comfortable, but the dining room chair that I was using prior was much more comfortable. I put an support pillow on the back otherwise this would not have worked out at all. It's tough buying an office chair online because you really want to make sure it's going to be comfortable for longer periods. I'm just hoping that over time/with use the cushioning gets a little more comfy.

The best back support
Buy it! Serta chairs are like their mattress, provides great back support and cushion.

It's the most uncomfortable, Chinese made junk. Don't be fooled by Serta name!
The the most uncomfortable office chair I've ever owned. It's very cheaply made poor quality garbage. Memory foam of the seat is a lie. It's like sitting on the ground. I ended up buying back support and seat cushion from Amazon to compensate for it, still didn't help. The back does not tilt and it's stuck, as I sit the front part lowers more and gives me constant back pain. Unfortunately my handyman died and it took me a while with the pandemic to find someone to do it. Thus I lost the return window. I do not recommend this chair to anyone. Serta should be ashamed of themselves for peddling such Chinese junk putting their reputation on the line. I am disgusted to say the least.

Excellent chair, comfortable, but where are all the colours..
I love this chair, and will say that its super comfortable. I found it beyond frustrating to do any research on this chair and to find any information on the comfort level, as well as the colour options, as most people talked about building issues or got the wrong colours. I'm not sure why Serta doesn't directly sell this chair, as it makes it very difficult to find any information on, as well as to locate in Canada.I work from home, and spend many hours a day at my desk doing computer work, so finding a chair that's comfortable was paramount for me, and this completely fits the bill. I've bought and sold two different Herman Millar chairs and many other office chairs in between and none of them worked for me.. I think in some part due to my smaller size as well as just being picky and wanting something really comfortable. If you are looking for a comfortable chair, I highly recommend this one.I like that the arms are lower on this chair as well as the mid high back, which works for me. I find that the cushions aren't overly soft, but also not too firm either, so sitting for long hours is no problem. I'm happy that I took a chance in ordering this chair online, as I wasn't sure if I'd be happy with it, but I really am. The only thing I'm not loving about this chair is the colour as its a warmer beige and doesn't work with my apartment, but otherwise everything else is great.I also sit crosslegged sometimes, and wasn't sure if I could do that in this chair, but I can comfortably, which I love! I am 5'6" tall with longer legs, and my feet can just go flat on the floor, so if you are any shorter, that may be something to think about. Overall, fantastic chair, super easy to build unlike the numerous complaints online (don't let that deter you).. seriously it's an office chair, of course its a little bit cumbersome to build, but I did it by myself in no time, with no issues whatsoever. If you do happen to call the customer service department, keep in mind that they can only help with parts, and nothing else.. I called as there was a big flyer saying "Call first before returning" to see if I could get another colour, which of course they told me at the end of the conversation! Also if you do have hardwood floors, you may need to order new castors, as these ones are cheep hard plastic and are not meant for hardwood floors, and could possibly damage them, check out the rubber ones, they should work and they aren't expensive either.

Not a great chair
I paid far too much for this chair. Seemed like a nice chair when I took the pieces out of the box - I was pleased with the fabric, and the style is nice, with the silver tacks. However, it is not comfortable at all, the arm rests are much too short to be of any use as an office chair, and the back is too low, with no head rest. Not having decent arm or head rests is my fault for not checking the details carefully enough, but this thing is not comfortable all. The seat is hard and doesn't feel evenly made. Looks cute but total crap for the price. It's way too much hassle to take it apart, repackage and send back, so I have an expensive spare chair in my office and have to find another. Totally disappointed.

Comfortable??
Bought it after reading all the reviews that it's surprisingly super comfortable and since it matched my other furniture and decor, I decided to purchase it. I always find these leather black office chairs eyesores and it gave me an opportunity ti get rid of mine..but omg I soo regret it now!!! Who said this was comfortable?? Its too firm and the arms are not high enough to rest your elbows on therefore you get tired easily. Also the tilt option is almost useless as you basically have to forcefully push your feet on the wall or desk to get it to tilt just slightly. Oh how i miss my amazonbasics executive highback chair soo much now 😂. Compared to this it was the most comfortble chair in the world. I must admit that It is beautiful and it matches my other furniture perfectly but its not something you can sit on for too long..so if you're just buying it for a desk you rarely use or for decor purposes go for it, but if you work on your computer alot like me, i would definately think twice..sorry serta!!

Great for looks BUT SUPER UNCOMFORTABLE!!!!
I bought two chairs in late September to compliment our recently renovated home office. I work from home so I needed a chair that was both comfortable and looked chic. I came across these while I was on the Staples website but I ended up finding them $100 cheaper on amazon. I REGRET EVER BUYING THESE!!! I'm not a heavy person but yet the minute I sit on the chair it feels as if i'm sitting on a piece of board without any padding. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND SAVE YOURSELF THE BACK PAIN. There are plenty of other chic comfortable chairs out there. I gave it a 1 star for looks.
