I love this gel. It doesn’t have the stronges hold ever but it leaves my hair super beautiful. And the smell is incredible.

This is hands down the best gel I have ever used. It's not the hardest gel, meaning that my hair is not stiff as a board nor is it crunchy, but I never really cared for that. I just put up with the hard crunchiness to tone down the frizz. This gel makes gets my curls popping, and my buns sleek and shiny without the stiff hardness. My hair does flake up after 2-3 days, but I expected that since I use another brand that I love for my leave in. Most natural hair brands formulations tend to clash with each other.

I use it on soaking wet hair (4a/4b) and my curls clump together with no frizz! The smell is strong but doesn't linger. It's not the normal gel consistency which i also like because a little goes a long way. If you use too much your hair will be crunchy and flaky. I've mixed it with a few different moisturizers and so far no flakes AFTER my hair was dry. I was nervous about flakes a couple times lol. The reason for 4 stars is mine arrived open. I'm talking the bag had a huge hole ripped in it that the product fit thru and no seal on the actual gel. I also saw no return option which is why I forced myself to use it. I was hesitant so I tested a patch of hair with it first.Update: I overlooked the return button🤦🏾‍♀️

It has a very pleasant smell. The gel itself tends to hold onto style however, unfortunately after about three or four hours, it tends to flake out your hair, like as if you have dandruff…..That unfortunately forced me to stop using this product …

I actually really like this stuff. Tried it for the first time a couple years ago. It has great hold, and it's one of the few hair gels out there that doesn't cause my hair to fall out. One tub of it will last a LONG time, so that's nice too. As with any hair gel, as your hair gets longer, you'll have to use a little more.

Beware purchasing products on Amazon. I’ve purchased this gel at Sally’s multiple times before it never flakes, it keeps my curls moisturized. The one I purchased on Amazon flakes and is slightly lighter in color and different texture than the one I purchase in stores. I suspect they may be cutting it with something else. Regardless it is NOT the same gel I purchase at the beauty supply store. Do your self a favor and just buy this gel in store.

Love everything about this product! Did have to wash more frequently because my scalp got itchy from buildup but it smells great and I felt a difference in my hair right away! It feels thicker and stronger and stayed moisturized longer. I used 2 products in my 4c hair and it slicked down perfectly before edge control😭😭😭 I ONLY use Mane Choice products in my hair now 🥰

I was really disappointed about it because I had a lot of hope. The application was really nice but the resort was terrible. I tried It own few times and even with a leave-in but the resort was kinda the same. I had I lot of white things on my hair.

I didn’t read the reviews till after purchase. Product went on okay, no other products added to washed clean hair but left visible residue in my hair. A few other reviewers cite flakes. This is not what I expected.
