I recommend this product it works well and I would for sure buy again I wanted a natural wood look for this shelf without the harsh chemicals. I used 320 and 400 grit sand paper to prepare the board. The full link of the board photo is right after I finished the application, the rest it’s been a few hours I am going to see what happens as time goes along for the next 24 hrs and I am waiting on the varnish to complete the look. I can say the size of the bottle size did this 1x12x12 with some left over although this is one coat of your looking for a light/ happy medium natural wood color 1 coat I believe if I put another coat on it would be darker but this color works for my project. It’s easy to clean up because it’s water based. I will say that the product came with a seal over the cap and on top but the bottle did have something in the side and the position did remove some wording from the direction side. Looking for a light/medium wood color this is the color and the finish color is wonderful, and this size bottle will give you enough for small projects. I would buy this again if I needed another board colored or stained and I am sure if this product is this gorgeous the others will be too.

Covers great, has the right color, and easy to use. This is my go to stain now I love the fact that it has no bad smell. And really very affordable.

Great product. Very rich color and easy to use. I have used store brands before but this was very good. If you’re not sure about the color choose something lighter because it does dry quickly and soaks in instantly when you don’t use a wood conditioner first which I never have. I only did one coat. I used it on unfinished pine and topped it with wax because I wanted more of a matte finish. I applied it with a sponge cloth. I’m still debating if I want to do black accents on my pieces so I may buy the ebony color next.

Stain worked perfectly for my project! Consistency was not too watery and there was absolutely no odor. I just needed one coat and it was just the right amount for the matte look I was hoping for. Used the stain directly over wood shelving that I built to accommodate my existing drawer stand for my coffee bar which matched exactly! The reason for the 4 stars is for poor packaging, not necessarily about the product. Unfortunately it was sent in a flimsy envelope type package that resulted in the covered seal to break open and spill plus the cap was also loose causing spillage. I'm sure it was due to the package getting tossed around during transport but it may have helped if it was packaged more securely to prevent the liquid or bottle from busting open. Photos provided are of bottle spill and finished product.

This stuff is great! Zero smell and made the wood look beautiful. I did have to apply two or three coats and let dry 10min between but it was so easy and the result was excellent. I used it on an old oak windowsill that had been neglected for over 20 years and now it looks new. Prepping the wood is really important so I sanded it well with medium grit and finished with a fine grit sandpaper until it felt silky smooth to the touch, also wiped clean to remove all dust. The prep is a pain but it’s essential for the best result. I will be using the stain on every windowsill in my home, I’m so pleased. I finished with the satin varnish from this company as well and it gave it such a nice finish.

I really like this stain! Goes on smooth. Cleans up easily. No odor. Very easy to use. My bottle came in tact. Did not leak. Was in perfect condition!

I bought this product based on reviews and I didn’t want to drive to a big box store. I do a lot of wood work and refinish furniture. This product is for beginners. First the product is water based and very thin. Dries quickly with no smell. I have 4 coats on my boards to get them to an oak color. I did use a rag so most of it was soaked up in that rag. The second shelf, I will use a brush to see if I can get more color with less coats. It will need a top coat to match the bourbon sign going across the front. In the future, I will be using a name brand that I am familiar with. Clean up was a breeze. Came off easily from the glass bowl I was using. Update: Stained second shelf today with a quality brush. Product went on much better and the pine wood took the stain up much quicker. I only had to apply 2 coats to equal the 4 coats (with a rag)of first shelf.

I’m sure that the stain is lovely. Easy to apply, odor is not terrible. Unfortunately, the color representation is not good. Going from the pallet of stain options that were available online I chose one that was a light stain, but not nonexistent. I have applied two coats to essentially a naked piece of wood, and it is still completely naked. Zero color. Which renders the product completely useless. In photo the right half of that piece is stained. The left half is not. You can barely see the difference. The right half has two coats. Granted bought antique pine stain. But this color is more like white ash. Again, completely useless

Excellent product, whilst it’s a small amount it’s very thin so you don’t use a lot as it covers easier and so goes far, I poured it into a tub and applied with a brush and it didnt go on streaky! Pleased with the colour I would say it’s a caramel colour once on, which pales once dry! Bought another bottle as I used it all on two doors both sides, have one more to do so will have half left for touch up if needed or when redecorating, would recommend!
