Question 1

do these not come with a plastic wrap around the box like previous versions? just trying to verify the authenticity of a new product.

Accepted Answer

This month I received the Apple watch that I ordered from Amazon. It was the wrong size and wrong color. When did chat with an amazon agent who said that he cannot send a replacement as it is a product sold by a 3rd party seller (even if on the product page Amazon is shown as shipper (sold by: Amazon, shipped by: Amazon). When I pointed that out he said I was right, but I still have to order it again. That was weird. I have never had an Apple watch before so I do not know how should the packaging look like (that was your question), but I kind of lost trust in the product. So I returned the watch from Amazon and re-ordered it from Apple (they do a price match up to 10% so it was not a lot more expensive). Amazon received my return yesterday, but when I asked them about refund they said it might take 30days to get my money back. So disappointing...

Question 2

Does this watch come with original box and original accessories like the charger?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It comes in the Apple watch box with a band and the charging cable.

Question 3

is this bigger than series 3?

Accepted Answer

Yes! I upgraded from series 3 to this series 8 and it's definitely bigger. It's also edge to edge screen so it's easier to read and has way more capabilities than the 3 had. Despite it being bigger, I can use the bands I had for the 3 on the 8. No difference there. I had the 3 at 38mm, the 8 is 41mm. No way would I have worn the 45mm, I have tiny wrists. Lol
