Monster Halloween Hits (3CD)

Love the songs and music on these 3 cds. Great that it even includes some really old tunes that I remember were popular when I was a kid. Purple People Eater - yay! Really good overall collection.

It took 3 weeks to get here but it has a lot of fun songs for parties mostly kid friendly songs

If you are like me, then you are after the traditional Halloween hits, like "Monster Mash" and "Purple People Eater". Disc 3 contains the greats and is fun to listen to. Disc 1 has some big hits, like "Thriller" and "Ghostbusters", but I did not know nor care for more than half the songs (many heavy metal). Disc 2 had even fewer good songs ("Addams Groove" a notable exception). You have to decide for yourself if buying three discs is worth it when only one is great. These are original artists and the sound quality is good.

This is going to make our Halloween evening special!

Great Halloween mix, provided you still have something that plays CDs...DVD players do, if you still have one of them...

I bought this to play outside for Halloween. It has all the classic Halloween music. Thriller, Ghost Busters, Monster Mash, and about 60 other great songs. Not all of them are by the original artists, but they're still fun. Well worth the money.

Mir geht es ähnlich wie dem ersten Rezensenten. In der Tracklist tauchen zwar jede Menge gute Lieder auf, leider ist nicht ein Originaltitel dabei. Die meisten Lieder sind nachgesungene Dance-Versionen, die sich reichlich billig anhören.In der MP3-Version des Samplers stehen auch die Interpreten mit dabei, leider hab ich das erst nach Bestellung und AutoRip-Anhören bemerkt.hsiUpdate:Nachdem ich auch die eigentliche CD in Händen halte, muss ich mein Urteil etwas korrigieren. Es gibt doch einige gute und originale Tracks auf der CD. Viel mehr scheint es so zu sein, dass MP3-Version, evt. Auto-Rip und die echte CD schlicht nicht identisch sind. Das war für mich sehr ärgerlich, weil ich die Lieder eigentlich schnell brauchte, aber gut, zumindest die CD ist brauchbar. Nur auf den AutoRip darf man sich hier nicht verlassen.

This is a superb collection of Halloween related hits from the 50's through to some very recent ones. Like with any large collection, (there are 91 on 3 albums) there are some tracks I don't like but, certainly for the price, this is a very reasonably priced collectionWhilst, as said above, there are a number of tracks that I don't like, Amazon also supply free all the songs in MP3 format, so stick just the one's that you like on your iPod/MP3 player, and let rip.Recommended as, in my opinion, one of the best Halloween collections available

Great collection for my favourite time of year. All the songs you'd expect plus some very pleasant surprises. I bought this for a friend who was hosting a Hallowe'en Soiree but may have to buy my own copy. Inevitably some of the links are pretty tenuous - robbed of the video Everybody (Backstreet's Back) makes no sense at all. I Want Candy is equally out of place and the inclusion of Japan's Ghosts is a triumph of title over lyric. All in all a great collection despite this.

This simply has all the best Halloween type songs you would want and none of the rubbish that you wouldn't! Unlike many Halloween CD's and I have a a few. You can't have Halloween without MJ's Thriller, this has it, I could go on and list so many must have songs for Halloween but this has them all, so just read the list!!! You will only ever need one Halloween CD if you buy this one. Buy it or regret it.Val (from the Dark side)

Ordered on 22nd October, with a delivery date of 29th, so in time for Halloween. Unfortunately it didn't arrive until 3rd of November, so no use at all for our party. I was going to return it, but it really is an excellent CD! Would have been 5 stars if we got it in time.
