Mordenmiss Women's Cotton Linen Full Front Buttons Jacket Outfit with Pockets Style 1 XXL Burgundy

A beautiful dress that easily can be worn open as tunic-jacket. The fabric is solid weight with a nice weave, not thin or see-through. Could easily wear alone as dress on summer evenings through and rest of the year as well as with pants, tights, tank for extra looks and seasons. The collar stands on its own, not weak or floppy. The buttons are of good size and a nice matte instead of shiny finish. Stitching and composition excellent, falls beautifully and has a nice pleat in the back. The edges are all professionally finished, anticipate no unraveling.I did send the first back to switch for one size smaller - the sleeves were a bit long (enough to flip in the band with button wrist closure) and the shoulders also a bit offset. Being 5' even, its difficult to find clothes that have proper lengths so this was a great find in the right size.I purchased both the great plum and a black - which arrived within 2 days and I had not even made it to the post to mail back the first! This item is just wonderful and quality is extremely high. I definitely will purchase other items from Mordenmiss...just hoping they will continue to grow their inventory even further.

Surprisingly well-made! I was a little skeptical, but this has a good weight and body to the fabric, hangs well, and washes up like a dream. No noticeable fading of color either although I’d recommend cold water and not drying it too long. It doesn’t wrinkle. A good purchase!

Very cute. Heavy cotton fabric. Back is shorter than the front even though I am busty. Pockets are useless to carry a typical size smart phone.

Would have been pleased to keep this garment except for the fact that it is HUGE. Color, fabric, tailoring all good however.

The fabric is a bit on the rougher side but it has substantial weight which helps it hang nicely, without clinging at all. I am 6 feet tall and 210 lbs with an apple shaped body that is basically 48-50 inches around at all points. I feel very stylish wearing this paired with leggings. I am trying to find a back clip so that I could "pinch in" the waist a bit for a slight change in the profile of the garment. Sleeves are a great length although I have longish arms so they may be too long for some. I have worn it over a thermal shirt on very cold days and even though it is linen, it was perfectly warm.

Received this yesterday, I ordered it in the burgundy color in size XXL and the fit is great. It is very loose and possibly I could have gone down a size, I usually wear a US size 16, but I’d rather have it a little big than too small. The back has a pleat sort of, so if you don’t want something that’s very a-line and loose fitting, this isn’t for you. The linen is heavy and very nice quality, will be too heavy for our Texas summers tho, the sleeves are plenty long and can be rolled up and the length on me, 5’6”, comes right to the top of my knee so it’s long enough to wear with leggings or tighter fitting pants or as a jacket. I think with loose or baggy pants I’d look like a bag lady. I’m very pleased and will order another, either the blueish or beige one. I think this will wash well, plan to use the gentle cycle on cold and hang to dry. There’s no strong smell that someone else mentioned and it does come on a plastic bag, folded up with wrinkles but spraying with Downy Wrinkle Release, pulling on the creases does fine. This is not the starched linen fabric of old but if you’re looking for linen that’s casual this is it. I’m really impressed with my 1st purchase from Mordenmiss.

This is advertised as a coat. It is not a coat. A thicker shirt for winter.

Everything about this top is quality! The fit, color, styling, and weight was far better then I expected. People I don’t know even commented on how nice it looked. It free of the instant wrinkle factor so many pieces of clothing of this material have. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a heavier weight cotton/linen top for cool weather.
