2026 Upgraded OEM WR60X26866 Refrigerator Evaporator Fan Motor, Compatible with GE Refrigerator, Replace V80E14MS2A3-57A611, WR60X10341, WR60X10356, WR60X10357, etc.

The OEM fan that this is a direct replacement for was originally a 7 blade fan. The new one is a 3 blade. While slightly noisier, it does have better airflow. Having used Nidec in the past on medical and test equipment, I've never had a failure before, but I also haven't placed one in a high humidity low temperature environment before. I'm surprised at this application as it really does seem a weak point in the system, and it's probably good to have a spare one on hand. Replacement is easy enough and no need to remove the housing that holds the fan. It can be removed by just pulling it forward enough to access. This would normally be a $300 or more repair job from a tech so this is a bargain for just a few minutes of time.

Only time will tell but so far so good. Have had to replace the fan in my GE refrigerator 3 times in the last 8 years which I think is ridiculous. The first 2 times I had the GE repairman replace it with genuine GE parts. I refuse to pay GE any more money for their inferior engineering. This time I replaced it myself with this non GE part. We'll see if it lasts more than 3 years. Only thing is the GE part had a rubber piece running around the base that this one doesn't have. I assume it's to dampen the vibration. Be sure to take it off your old fan and put it on the new one. It fits.

Just the exact part I required and fixed the issue saving me hundreds on the repair. I am a lady and I did it myself! Don't allow anyone to charge you for what you can do for yourself. I looked my issue up online and saw what most likely was the problem and took it from there. Needed the evaporator fan, took everything apart and it was so easy to put it back together with the new fan which happened to be an exact match of the original in my GE 21CU French Door Profile Refrigerator. Now I had to take my fridge apart to get the fan 1st to match it to the exact part that would fit it because apparently using the make and model number information wasn't bringing up what was required, however once I did I was able to match it and the shipping was pretty fast to me also allowing me to fix the issue without losing much of the food I had already in there.

June 2, 2025 - replaced OEM fan that had failed after 5 years and 10 months. I'll update this review if I have any problems. It's not any louder than the OEM fan was, but this fridge had numerous reviews complaining about the noise level, so take that into consideration. There are plenty of YouTube videos showing how to replace this fan. It's really very simple. Take your time removing the evaporator coil cover AND putting it back in.

A bit misleading with their advertising, this does not match the original OEM fan I pulled out, but if fits perfect and works well. It is a bit noisier than the original fan, but that's because the old fan wasn't spinning fast enough to properly cool everything on the top shelves. Now my fridge stays cool evenly throughout, so I'm happy.

Company has a great instructive web page, brand appears to be of good quality. I am not asking for a warranty replacement but would like to advise the company I do some repairs on appliances and this was a direct replacement. The product I ordered on June 7, 2025 just failed on August 31, 2025. It did have spells of being "noisy" but it completely stopped functioning on this date. Fan was removed, tested on outside 12v DC source and no movement what so ever. I replaced with a temporary old fan I had from another application, ordered a new fan from another source and manufacturer. Products fail all the time for many reasons so not asking for anything, just want to advise the company to review the product and failure rate. Thank you UPDATE SIX MONTHS LATER: company has excellent customer service, they responded to my concerns even after warranty period and provided very fair support. All products made may occasionally fail, such is the life of anything mechanical so I just got a bad one I guess. The key though is good customer support if you have a problem and this company gets a gold star for good support of products they represent and sell. would buy from them again for sure. thank you
