Beetle Jail 10X Baitable Clear Plastic Small HIve Beetle Trap. No poisons, pesticides, Safe for Brood and All Bees.

I like the design, execution is terrible. Half of mine leaked; there was a hole (some had 2 holes) where the plastic injection point is located (on the bottom). The first one drained apple cider vinegar / olive oil in my hive killing multiple bees before I noticed the defect, all the subsequent ones I checked before putting them in my hive. Claim this product is made in the USA is a lie, it says right on the plastic it was made in China! Yes, I got them from Shadwin's; I will never purchase from them again due to their unethical claims. Including S&H charges and 50% failure rate, it comes out to be more than $6 per trap, not a good value at all. Ones that were not defective work fine. I like them better than Beetleblasters since beetles can not hide under the lip. However, Beetleblasters work with Apimaye plastic frames, those traps don't; only work with standard wooden frames due to the fact they hang on the frame itself with tabs, if the frame is narrower (like plastic Apimaye frames), they don't hang very well at all. After this failed experiment, I ordered traps from China (another seller) for 1/5th of the price, received identical traps; yes some still leaked but after throwing out the bad ones, the remaining ones still (average) cost me just over $1 per trap. I have 14 hives, was planning on using 6-8 traps per hive, it would cost me over $500 to get them from Shadwin's.

They work great. Trapping beetles as advertised.I left one by accident out of the hive and trapped a ton of ants. So, it’s a great ant trap too.

I love these beetle blasters. I can clean them out & reuse them. They also stand up on there own when I am pulling frames out for inspections. I also like the way they fit on the frames& there see through. The bees don’t build a seal around them which means they are easy to remove.

when Inopened and inspected these beetle traps three out of four wouldn’t close properly. They are also shipped directly from China so, it will take a couple weeks to get to you. I ordered the same traps from a different vendor and all of those worked fine and arrived in three days.

The baitable traps is the best! Love it, catches lots of Beetles and can reuse it over and over👍

Works as described. A must have for a beekeeper.
