They work!
These worked well holding up my sagging headliner in my 2004 GMC pickup. Easy to install once you figure out how to get them started before twisting them into place.

Simple but effective
Exactly what I needed! Picked up a cover for the recliner but it kept slipping out of position, these remedied things. Simple concept, easily installed!

A lifesaver! Saved me hundreds!
These are fantastic and I'm so glad I found out they existed. I recently painted my living room and my brown couch did not look good with the color and it had a stain that I couldn't get out. I needed a fix before Christmas (didn't want guests to view the ugliness), and I really didn't want to have to buy a new couch because mine isn't very old. My couch is a very large size and I couldn't find a slipcover that would fit it. I am also not a very good seamstress so I didn't know what to do. I came across a blog that recommended using these to keep slipcovers from slipping, and that gave me an idea. Instead of sewing my own slipcover or even buying one, I made one using a duvet cover and these pins. I had a duvet cover that was unused and stashed away in the linen closet. I took it apart at the seams using a seam ripper and then I tucked it into the couch wherever I needed it and used these pins to hold it in place. Anywhere it was loose, I fastened it with these. Because these are clear and somewhat small, you can barely see them, and even if you do see them, they look like little decorative buttons. My couch looked good enough that my brother thought I got a new one and my sister asked me how my slipcover looked so tight and good. As for function, the pins act as little screws. You stab them through the fabric and upholstery and twist them until they screw in flat. The come out by twisting them the opposite way. They are easy to insert and remove, and they hold up well. I have had numerous people sitting on my couch, including my five-year-old daughter who likes to squirm and throw herself around on the couch and these have stayed in place perfectly. The only downside is that I have to remove all of them to wash my slipcover, but that isn't anything against the pins but against myself for making a fake slipcover. They are totally worth it though. I bought a fifty pack for fewer than ten bucks which saved me what the cost of a new couch or a custom-made slip cover would be, which is what? Hundreds? Thousands? I am very happy with my purchase! I plan to buy more to slipcover a little chair of my daughter's that has become stained. If you want a slipcover or to cover any sort of bad upholstery and you don't know how to sew or don't want to take the time, this is your answer! Buy these and some fabric, a sheet, or anything else you can use and make your furniture look new.

Great
Work great. I even spray painted them to match the bedskirt.

Protecting furniture
I needed to protect the armrests of the couch from the dogs rough paws. I used these to screw on towels to keep the couch in good shape. The edges are extremely shallow, rough and sharp tearing up my fingers as I went so it turned into a long project. That made them a bit difficult to use. They are holding well except in the areas where there isn't a lot of filling they don't really screw down as much. You get a lot for a little money which I am grateful for but like I said they are way too sharp.

Upholstery tacks did the job
Standard upholstery tacks as describedโฆ. I use the standard upholster Tax to put up a few spots of the headliner of my 2004 Ford Ranger. Iโm probably gonna take the headliner out for the next year the year after but right now I got some other stuff. I gotta do see how I just got a brand new motor put in it. Iโll be keeping this truck for a while and so Iโm gonna take out the headliner next year and actually put a new cover on it but until then these upholstery Tax are doing the job that I need them to do.

ClearHeads
They break easily and don't pin into Upholstery. They are useless.

Worked well
These did work well for holding my couch or chair covers in place. The only downside is that I find them hard to remove, and they would tear the fabric. Still, I was happy with them for what I wanted them for.

The pins break and are very bad quality

Will buy again!! They are easy to use!
These pins are super for my chairs which have the extra material on the arms. You just screw them in until tight. It keeps everything in place. When I need to wash the arm shields I just pull out the pins.
