I did my own haircut with the Glaker clippers and trimmer. From start to finish, the clippers went from 88% to 68% charge. Excellent quality and value. The clippers have a heavy weight to them, but the trimmers are lighter, making them easier to hold. Both sound premium and are not loud. I also discovered that non-brand Wahl-style guards fit these clippers, which is a relief as I needed larger guards for my upper head and beard. Both the clippers and trimmer are capable of shaping beards, although the clippers chisel through beards better than the trimmers. The trimmer, however, provides a much closer and sharper shave than the clippers, just by a noticeable fraction. I also used my own foil shaver for an even closer finish. Fading was effortless compared to my previous all-in-one basic trimmer, which only had a dial for size adjustments. The lever on the Glaker clippers is analog, so it does not click into various positions. The blades are also straight and level with the teeth, not tapered or angled. Judging by the looks of my fade, I’m chuffed. Both come with a charger, even though they have the same port. The only downside is that they come with no power adapter, so you need your own USB adapter. Overall, I am really satisfied with the value, performance, and quality. I will test them on my children next.

The hair clipper is great, still working flawless after many hair cuts but the trimmer is not that great, the blade is not as sharp as the clippers.

I had bought a Philips 7000 trimmer during covid to learn to cut my own hair. This did an ok job but it was getting blunt and the blade wasn't as wide. So I decided to better set, I was skeptical at the price being so low at £50 I thought is it just a cheap set, but I bought it anyway. I was impressed when it arrived, the clippers are nice and weighty, you can tell the blades are well engineered, and it sounds just like the one in the barbers with the low hum. It says you must oil the blades before and after and leave on for 1 minute which is a bit long, but it definitely makes them cut more easily. I was blown away by the quality of the cut, it has the lever to do adjustments on each clipper number, and it has the inch/mm/guard number on each guard which is useful. I was able to do my first proper skin fade and it looks great. And with the smaller trimmer I got a sharp clean line detailing around the ears and side of face. So glad I bought this I would highly recommend. It also comes in a nice zip travel pouch with space for it all to be organised. They have also included an apron for doing your friends and family and a professional hair dresser comb which made cutting the top much easier.

This product makes me feel like I’m one of those professional barbers who has a great trim for both my beard and hair. I didn’t know I needed this product, but I started using it and I love how easy it is to use. I also love that it comes with a bag and so many accessories. It makes me look sharp, clean, and the battery life is amazing. Comfortable to use and fast charging aswel which last really long

after a year more ore less i have to say very good lasting product but somtime it leves me spots like grabs or cut my skin. it could be better for a pro kit i wouldnt buy again just cause is not what i exactly wanted but i would buy again cause its a good product compared to what ive used and ive used alot
