Had ro replace on my Amana top load washer, very easy to install. Works very well.

This washer lid lock assembly was exactly what we needed. Our washer kept saying it was locked even when the door was shut, and it wouldn't let us start it. After installing this part, the issue was completely fixed. Now, our washer works perfectly again. Highly recommend for anyone facing the same problem! It was super easy as well.

This lock was an immediate fix, which worked for my needs, albeit only 6 months. Installation was as usual for locking mechanisms, and the pricing was comparable to most options available on Amazon. Most replacements are from unknown-branded companies out of China, but in theory should function for longer than 6 months.There is a possibility the control board is bad, however all multimeter testing up to this point, confirms the issue is not the "brains" of the machine, but rather the specific part. I will be testing the locking mechanism this evening to erase any doubts of the lock not being faulty/failing. IF the locking mechanism tests functional, I will amend my review to reflect the proper status.

This part was exactly what we needed to fix our Maytag washer. The latches are notorious for wearing down as they are made.from plastic. Easy to change and saves us a ton of money by doing the repair ourselves.

Seems good. Construction seems to be about the same as the factory switch. Installed and is working fine. Only used a couple times but it fixed the my problem. Hopefully it holds up. Good price.
