This waterproof pad is thick, feels very soft and quite large! It stays put underneath and doesn’t move around when I do! It feels as soft as my other bedding which is important to me. I’m sensitive to the way things feel against my skin and this doesn’t bother me at all. I wash it probably twice a week and have done so for a few months now and it’s not showing any wear and tear. It does a perfect job of keeping my bed dry when I have issues from bladder problems. If you’re suffering from incontenance or possible just had surgery and need to protect your mattress/bedding, I recommend this pad whole heartily. It’s also great if you have a grandchild sleep over and they have an accident. Saves everyone involved from extra work and embarrassment.

I originally just bought one of these pads, but it worked so well, I bought a second and today I'm getting a third so I don't have to do laundry in the middle of the night. The pad is.... comfortable, large, very observant and most important washes beautifully - for any residue I find on the pad, I just put on a bit of Dawn dish washing liquid on it, put it in the washer with laundry soap, and the pad comes out looking great from the laundry.

Yes; I bought these for my animals who are older and or those that are just difficult. Sometimes my animals if I'm away too long decide to tell me so and pee on my bed as a welcome home gift - but now they've only went on the bed pad. I't's easy to wash, holds a lot of wet stuff and one other reason I use it is it's softness. I've got an older bunny who usually makes it to her litter box but sometimes doesn't get there in time. So I've put this on the floor so the animal can be on the softness and also if an oops happens it's ok as the floors not wet nor does she get wet as it disperses away from the top layer. Also it's not crinkly and not easily chewed through, but that won't last too long as nothing stops teeth that can eat wood. Ps. (I'm not certain if it's the same for humans but assume so). I can tell you I feel the difference when I wash them or even lay on it. I'd buy more if they were less expensive - but they are worth it. If others are reading this and have used ones - they can likely be donated to a small animal rescue or shelter near you; just because they might be ugly doesn't mean it can't be used elsewhere; consider adopting as most kinds of animals are waiting for a good home.

These seem to work well but are enormous! I have to fold them in half, as the person who uses them is small. They don’t stay anchored in place well, but it’s likely because I have to double them over. But they are easy to machine wash and dry, and they’ve held up to daily use. I’d buy them again, but I wish they’d make smaller sizes.

We haven't had this long enough to comment on absorbency and durability, but it is a good size and well-made. The edge are finished much better than others offered for a similar price, which will undoubtedly speak well for it's durability.

I can’t attest to durability because this is a new purchase, but the product seems well made! I recommend buying at least 2. The first night I used the pad, my husband’s Depends leaked. The pad was so absorbent that the bedding was dry and I only needed to replace the pad with my second one. The wet pad washed and dried well.The extra large size is perfect for an adult!

My husband had major back surgery and when he was released from the hospital his wound was still draining. I did not want to ruin our sheets or mattress so I purchased these bed pads. They are wonderful! They worked great - they were both absorbent and slip-resistant. And I'm happy to say they still look and work great after many washes!!!

The best bed pad on the market! The x-large size makes it a must! I have tried different types (both disposable and washable for my elderly mother and Somata is the best-- easy to clean , durable and the most comfortable for her. No crinkling sound or rigidity. It is soft and the size perfect. It arrived quickly and has proven to be a real life saver for us as caregivers.
