How many pockets are there?

There is only one small pocket on the ouside, it can fit a few balls and tees, and some other small items. It also has a lace compartment to store a small bottle of water. The inner pocket can accomodate 6-7 clubs max. I use this golf bag mainly for practice rounds at the driving range or to play a few holes.

I have a single driver, can you carry this on & not have to check it?

Carry it on a plane? No. Driver too long for overhead compartment.
