Works, But Not Instant
As a thermometer, it works great. Easy to use and I used it when making yogurt, testing my Sous-Vide temperature, and checking chicken for doneness. However, please note, it is NOT instant read. In all instances, it took about 40 seconds to get to the temperature from starting room temp.

I bought two of these and most of the time these things don't work. I'm just glad they weren't more than five bucks.

Name of product and description says it is instant read ...
Name of product and description says it is instant read, but it takes quite some time to display the actual temperature as it slowly ascends to the temperature.

I'm pretty disappointed, but I guess I always get what ...
It stopped working after the first time I used it. I have to take the battery out and put it back in to get the screen to show anything after I push and hold in all the buttons. I'm pretty disappointed
