This is a quality grinding wheel. I use this wheel for grinding ferrite (FeMnZn ceramic) transformer cores and it works very well for this application. I use this wheel dry and it works fine. I mounted it on a standard bench grinder with a 1/2 inch arbor. I used some plastic adapters to change the size of the arbor hole; these adaptors are available on Amazon. Wheel runs true and smooth. Wheel seems very well balanced. I was using aluminum oxide grinding wheels before switching to this diamond wheel, and this wheel is a huge improvement.
