If you’re anything like me then you might have taken a LOOOONG break from reading. And when you have the urge to read one of the many books you possess, you just can’t be bothered. Laying in bed awkwardly holding a book is not comfortable, especially when you need to have a light on. It’s easier and more comfortable just to watch tv at that point. I had heard good things about kindles, but I was skeptical, I knew I could download it on my phone and so I did. I tried reading a book on my phone and before long I found myself scrolling through social media. So after a long time I decided to get a kindle… and it was a great buy! I truly cannot fault it. I love everything about it, it has reignited my urge to read again. It’s so simple, please do not think this is a tablet, as it’s not, you could not watch videos on it due to the e-ink screen, but why would you? The e-ink screen is what makes it feel like you’re reading a real page from a real book.Pros:•It is very light and sleek. It fits very comfortably in your hand.•It has an amazing battery life.•The e-ink screen makes it look like a real book.•Feels very sturdy and high quality.•You can read anywhere! At night in the dark, in bright sunlight… anywhere!•Without ads, the screensaver when off is the cover of the book you are reading.Cons:•Can be a little slow to open pages to find a book. But this is because of its e-ink screen, it’s a trade off for it to be useable in all light conditions.•Because of this slowness it can be hard to find books on the store. My recommendation would be to buy books on your phone/laptop and send them to your kindle.•Takes a while to get used to changing pages and finding how to get to the Home Screen (hint: touch the top left of the screen when reading a book to go home).Besides these nitpicks, this is a great buy and I’d recommend it to anyone considering it for themselves.

as this is e-ink, it can take a couple of seconds for the screen to load - it can be a bit slow at times nglit has a unique feel to the screen, which is interesting but nice?the kindle itself has plenty of storage to hold countless books, so thats great!its also very lightweight and portable. its not too small but not too big - it is comfortable to hold and read fromoverall, its a nice piece of technology that is easy to read on and free from distractions

I recently ordered this Kindle, the first one came with a slight mark on the bottom of the screen. I contacted Amazon and they were fantastic, I was sent a replacement immediately and easy to return the faulty one.The kindle has exceeded my expectations! The first thing that struck me was how lightweight it is. It’s incredibly easy to hold, even for extended reading sessions, without causing any strain on my hands.The user interface is intuitive and straightforward, making it a breeze to navigate through my library and settings. The display is crisp and clear, providing a comfortable reading experience that mimics real paper, even in bright sunlight.Battery life is impressive, lasting weeks on a single charge, which is perfect for avid readers like me. The built-in adjustable light is a fantastic feature, allowing me to read comfortably in any lighting condition.Overall, this Kindle is a fantastic investment for anyone who loves to read.

I was always sceptical of the kindle. Not as good as a real book, no new book smell, that sort of thing. I ordered one as a prime day deal and was pleasantly surprised. It’s nice and light and not too big either, I popped mine in a coat pocket when I took it out after buying it. The touch screen is very responsive and the one button it has is tucked away at the bottom so it doesn’t look out of place, though I do sometimes find myself accidentally pressing it which is a pain. It’s very easy to set up as you can link it to your Amazon account when you order and the battery life is sound. Mine arrived with 20% battery and didn’t need a charge for 2 weeks even with daily use.The bonus is that it comes with 3 months of Kindle unlimited. As an avid reader, this is great as I can check out some books or authors that I wouldn’t have done previously, since they’re free on Kindle unlimited. I even revisited some old magazines for free, so a great service. Obviously it is a paid service after 3 months but you can choose to cancel so it doesn’t auto subscribe after your trial.Overall, a fantastic device and I’m very happy with the purchase. Does it replace real, physical books? No, but it coexists alongside quite nicely as it eases the pressure on my bookcase.

Wow, so light! It feels like it weighs nothing. Compared to my phone etc.I have put a clear cover on the back and then a poppet socket to hold easily. It fits the span of my hand soo easily. Poppets just another way to hold it. I have arthritis in my hands and this is brilliant, l can read again 😁Now for the reader, it’s is smaller than l was expecting. In the daytime l didn’t notice, but at night the screen so much smaller lit up.I’ve got used to it, it a brilliant reader, the battery lasts about 3 books on average, not totally flat then but l do charge it up then. Once the book is downloaded, l put it on aeroplane mode and really helps the battery.Because this is so light and easy to hold, you don’t need all these floor stand holders etc.So not waterproof, l don’t read in the bath or by a pool.Battery is fine l feel, for what you pay for this, it’s great. They always seem to do sales regularly.I got no ads, so I’m able to have the book cover on display that I’m reading.I love it, l would buy again, l would recommend.When setting up the reader ( it was on a prime day, so super busy) Amazon help line were instant call back and so kind. Great customer care help line. It’s easy to set up from new, (l was just being stupid, tech fobe]If you love to read and find it hard to hold a book, l would give it a try, and the books do seem to be cheaper to buy 😁

J'ai hésité longtemps, étant une amoureuse de littérature, de livres, tourner les pages, sentir l'odeur du papier, respecter l'oeuvre de l'auteur.e, regarder le prochain livre sur l'étagère avec un plaisir anticipé et se délecter de toute l'ambiance qui entoure ces moments d'intimité. Je me suis lancée à l'idée d'un Kindle en préparant un voyage d'une dizaine de jours, un voyage itinérant, en me disant que ce serait bien plus raisonnable à emporter dans les bagages. Depuis lors je le trouve aussi bien plus facile à emporter dans les transports en commun que j'emprunte tous les jours, pour les moments d'attente, chez le médecin ou autres. Je l'utilise principalement pour les romans de détente. Et il y a suffisamment d'autres sujets, d'autres livres à garder en version papier et dont on peut continuer à se délecter. Je trouve ce modèle de Kindle très pratique, léger, fin, très facile à emporter partout, bonne luminosité, ajustable, grandeur de texte ajustable, lecture facile et agréable, non fatigante pour les yeux, batterie longue durée jusqu'à présent, je suis ravie de cet achat.

Amoureuse des livres papiers, j'ai voulu tenter la kindle pour éviter de surcharger ma bibliothèque !!J'étais, je dois le dire, très sceptique. Le fait d'avoir un mois pour tester a été décisif. Pas de risque.Et bien je l'ai totalement adoptée.Au point de lire davantage !!Si on reste en mode avion la tenue de charge est extra.Amazon propose régulièrement des ebooks gratuits. Des sites proposent aussi des livres libres de droits. Je me régale.Le format me convient. On peut agrandir les caractères si besoin.La luminosité est bonne même au soleil.On peut lire des epub, des pdf.Cela fait presque un an que je l'utilise et je suis ravie d'avoir essayé !!!

Ich musste mein Kindle erst nach zehn Jahren ersetzen, die Dinge sowie die Batterie halten also wirklich lang unbeschadet. Das neue eBook ist ein bisschen kleiner, der Bildschirm ist jedoch gleich groß, Qualitativ aber ziemlich dasselbe mit paar Funktionen mehr und ein neues UI Design. Prozessor Power und Speicher wurden deutlich erweitert, bin also total zufrieden. Falls nur das Gerät mit Werbung zur Verfügung steht, könnt ihr das easy gegen eine kleine Gebühr nachträglich deaktivieren.
