Working from home and need some comfort on my dining room chair, would this work?

I use mine on a dining chair and I gotta say it makes a huge difference - its like a different seat, I'm not kidding. Old wooden kitchen chair now feels like a nice comfy office chair. No problems with the seat sliding off while i'm sitting on it. Backrest straps feel kind of flimsy but they do the job quite well too. All in all, good value for the price.

Any good for driving car

I’ve found it invaluable. I have an autoimmune condition that attacks my joints, including my spine, and it makes driving a nightmare, limiting my range to about a twenty minute journey. Since buying the Fortem Chair Cushions, that range has really increased. I do feel a little bit like I’m pitched on something a little precarious at times, as it’s quite high (I had to lower my chair as well, as I’m already 6 ft 4), and I find that I take corners a little bit more carefully now, but treats not a bad thing. The two parts can be used separately, so you may just select the lumbar support for the car, if you do find the other makes you feel a little unstable, and keep that for a chair at home.  The lumbar support attaches easily, with two elastic bands around the chair (I drive an Old Ford Galaxy and it easily fits that), and can be adjusted easily. The seat part is not attached, which means you can find the perfect placement, but does sometimes require a bit of faffing when you first get in the car. The two parts are very soft, but hold their shape well. They’re light, too, so if you’re transferring them between cars, or don’t always need it in the same seat, their weight isn’t a problem, although you would have to deal with the straps on the lumbar pillow (which shouldn’t be a problem). My wife doesn’t like it, but then again she isn’t gaining the benefits that I am, as she has no mobility issues. It’s also set up for me, of course, and she’s over a foot shorter than me.

Yes, there are two separate parts.  The lumbar support is attached to the chair back and there is a seat cushion to sit on.
