This item was a little bit smaller than I anticipated, but nonetheless it works very well. My 9- year- old loves it and learned how to work it pretty quickly. I like that it gives you two options for battery usage, which is using batteries or just having the cord connected to an adapter. I like that idea of it being fairly small so, if I want to take it with me on a trip for my son to use at night I like the idea that I can pack it up. My son really enjoys the different color features and that it lights up his whole room from the ceiling to the walls in his room. I am a happy momma with this product.

Took a bit to get used to, it’s not particularly user friendly with five letter-coded buttons, one of which is in the back right next to the cord and a pain to press because of that. However, once you’re past that, it’s a fun projector with tons of functions. Lots of ways to play, the lights are bright enough in the dark but not terribly bright so you can’t sleep. It does make a noticeable whirring noise when rotating, but it’s not loud. I was looking for something that would project stars and stay on all night, because many baby and toddler-geared products have built-in timers that turn them off in an hour max. This one doesn’t quite “stay on” by itself, you do have to set the timer every time you turn it on, but the timer is, for all practical purposes, unlimited - you can hold the timer button to set it for, I would say, 12 hours max, which takes care of it “staying on all night.” Haven’t tried to use it as a lamp.

I love everything about this light show except the timer function. There’s no setting that allows you to just set it to stay on- basically you MUST set the timer. And yeah, you can set it to an obscene amount of minutes, but you have to sit there and click the button a million times to get there. I use it as a nightlight for my 3 month old (it also serves as a mobile in a way because she stares at the stars as they go by) and I really don’t want it to ever turn off and her wake up to pitch dark.The wood color is so pleasing and the stars project very nicely— I just wish there was a “stay on” function.

It’s really cute and my son loves the marvel characters, but it’s pretty flimsy and cheap. I haven’t had it long and it’s already making noises when it rotates. I wish they had one with similar marvel characters but better quality and more features.

I bought this for my 5 year old, who has been having trouble sleeping because of nightmares. He loves this projector and, with it on, he has been able to go back to sleep quickly after waking up--for the first time in months. There are a variety of color selections for the stars--we use the red to help with sleep. The motor for rotation is nearly silent. His room is about 13X8, and the stars fill it, although they do become more fuzzy the farther away from the projector they are. The projector is light and easy to use. My only concern, having it in a room with two small children, is that the star dome, which is thin plastic, will be easily breakable. Overall, however, I wish only that I had bought it months ago!Edit: In the past month, my children have managed to push in the plastic dome of the projector twice. Both times, I was able to press out the dent easily. The dome did not crack; once the (very large) dent left a slight ridge marking where it had been. The star display and working mechanism were unchanged. So far, the dome has proved stronger than I expected.

my little boy loves this to be on every night. We have had it for about 9 months and it is still working great, versus another one we got that died after a month of use. The only thing that i wish I could change is the timer. I wish we could choose whether or not to use it some nights because you have to press the button for each minute...so if I want it all night, I have to press the button hundreds of times. It has lots of colors and blinks or rotates too. Very nice light.

When it works, the product is great. I had to get a replacement on the first one ordered because the light was going out and making an awful noise. The second one has worked until a few months ago. Now the lights are going out and it makes a whining noise when it’s on. I have reached out to the company, but haven’t heard back.

I got this for my eight-year-old, for Christmas. She is still scared of the dark and wants to sleep with her bedroom light on every night. She LOVES it!!If you want a very subtle light in the room, you can keep the cover on. Removing the cover, illuminates the entire room, without it being too bright.There are sooo many options/color varieties. The stars can spin, flash, change colors or stay still. You can also set a timer, for however long you want it to run.Super easy to use. My 8yr old can set it herself.

The stars aren't in focus but there's heaps of different colour options and the rotating function is mesmerising. It's perfect for a toddlers room, set the timer in 5 minute intervals (no remote), turn on and it works as a relaxing nightlight for them to fall asleep to. The grinding noise mentioned in previous reviews is extremely minimal, you don't hear it if you're more than 1m away and bub won't notice it. For 30 bucks, this is a great projector for kids

Bought for my niece who dislikes the dark. She was fascinated by the images on ceiling and she would drift off to sleep without any problems. Wasn’t on all night

We had a similar one previously which was quite loud and the buttons were at the back, very fiddly and the USB cord was like 6 inches.I bought this one hoping to solve those issues and was not disappointed.The woodgrain effect looks great, the buttons at the front are simple to use with the only complexity being the press and hold timer setting.The motor is very quiet and not distracting.The multicolor leds work well to create a lovely pattern of colours and due to the LED positioning, when you have all colours on, they move at slightly different angles creating varying movement of the colours alongside each other which is cool.The only real criticism I have is a lack of brightness control. It's OK but to make brighter or dimmer would be nice.Overall a great and simple light.

Bought this for my son for christmas less than a month ago. It has already stopped working. We're not sure what's wrong with it. It wasn't dropped. It was working one night, then not the next night. Cheap quality

Okay, so I bought this light for my partners son but tried it out myself, it is very versatile and simple, it's gorgeous and so calming to me, a 32 year old woman.I would recommend this to anyone feeling a little stressed
