This being my first dash cam, the recorded videos and images are great. It can pick up license plates from vehicles that are 1 to 2 car lengths in front of you. Don't expect it to read license plates on the opposite sides of traffic. I like using the wifi feature where you could download the videos/photos directly onto your phone without having to plug it into a PC for file transfer.I don't know what the difference between this one and other identical looking 4k dash cam (which as a matter sells for more) but I'm glad I went with this one vs over paying for the other ones. They seem to be identical in every way which is what drove me to purchasing this one.I'm happy with the purchase and the video/photo it captures works for me. Would be nice if it was offered with an optional hardwire kit vs the cigarette power cable. Only time will tell how long this dash cam will last and if i'll ever need help from customer service.

UPDATED: to one star, as the camera froze up, and can no longer use it!PREVIOUSLY: The User Manual, Is nearly useless. It is obviously translated into English. There is no contact information, online support, or warranty information on the box or manual. Even the timezone options are still set in GMT which means you need to translate it over for your time zone. There was no SD card included with the package. We've been having hard time, replaying videos (or any footage at all) that have been supposedly "saved" in a near accidents... this is what we need, IN CASE OF ACCIDENT! It was hard to find out how to save in case of a near miss anyway... I Don't recommend, unless you want to figure things out on your own, and have no support.

As a previous review noted, the manual that came in box is so worthless! I’m not the smartest guy in the world, but I can’t make sense of the instructions and the on device UI is not really intuitive. I’ve not even been able to see or view a single pic or video, and while I did download the app, the app itself has no documentation either and is as awful. I feel very chumped. 😞. Would definitely NOT recommend at all.

the camera is ok orderd it in January 2018 and it a every day use it stopped working may2018 now it wont come on to recordlike to fine a dash camera that will last dont know if it when badfrom every day use

This is an awesome camera but I couldn't access the GPS program & I didn't like the mounting bracket ... it's not a regular camera type or universal mount !!! You must use the mounting bracket expressly for this camera

Love this dashcam. Connects easily to the windshield, great quality of image and video, extra wide angle captures the entire front and more.

So far so good with this camera that takes great video for a fraction of the price of all the others. Everything works as it should and the wifi links with my app on my phone. The motion detection resets to off every time I shut my car off. I do have this hard wired to my car as well. I would recommend.

Camera randomly shuts off and battery indicator turns RED and I wasn’t sure what caused it. Low Battery blinks then shuts off. Manually turned it ON and shuts itself OFF again, with Battery Low Flashing, tried to move the power to another socket and seems to hold its power ON better now.
