TreeWool 100% Cotton Waffle Weave Blanket for Spring and Summer, Soft Comfortable and Lightweight (Queen Size - 90" x 90", White)

I’m so picky about my bedding. When I bought this blanket I knew the odds were good that I’d be returning it. But it’s wonderful. Soft, lightweight, all cotton, nice looking. Great value for the money!

I searched high and low for many days to FINALLY be SATISFIED with these blankets! I am not paid nor am I an "Amazon Troll Reviewer". I also am honest. I was looking for a 100% cotton thermal waffle weave blanket that was not super lightweight as I want it as a bed layer for winter. I wanted it to be soft, quality and medium to thick weave. This is the one...seriously I ordered at least three others that claimed they were the best only to be disappointed with the weave, thickness or quality. This blanket is perfect. It is still lightweight but will also add warmth to a bed layer or be great on its own in summer or spring. I REALLY hope this review saves people out there hours of searching. ( of course if you want a thin gauze like blanket this isn't the one for you)

I was actually hoping this would be a tighter, smaller weave like those waffle weave Henley shirts you see. This is woven from bigger strings which I had actually been trying to avoid as I’ve had these type of blankets in the past and they inevitably snag and leave little unsightly strings hanging everywhere. Anyway, that being said, I also wish I’d read the reviews more carefully. As many of you said, it smelled horrendous right out of the bag and so we didn’t even test the size on our bed or anything till we’d put it in the wash. Then I hesitated because it being 100% cotton I knew it might shrink. So it was then that I looked at the product info and reviews a bit more carefully and discovered that this has been a problem for many others. I washed mine on cold and then I put it in the dryer on no heat. It took TEN cycles and two days to get it dry without heat because I bought two and so there was twice as much blanket there. The first batches of lint were okay, but it did get thicker with each run until I had an impressive wad by the time the blankets were dry. After that I took them to my bed (queen size) and they still fit. I also measured just to see if there had been any shrinkage because the package clearly stated 90”x90”. Mine measured 93”x91” so no shrinkage yet!I’ve slept with blankets like this before so I’ve no doubt it will be fine weight and comfort wise, I only feel like I’m going to dread washing them. All the other laundry was on hold for two days while these darn things dried. They can be great for summer weather though paired with a sheet, they offer just the right amount of weight and breathability.

Soft but beware the color will bleed in the washDo not wash eith other linens or any garment. Best to soak it separately the first time so most of the unset ink can run out. Then use caution with future washing . It's beautiful and worth the care it needs

Very soft without being plushy, and the perfect weight for summer with a quilt. Enough to keep you warm but doesn't overheat. Would (and have) recommend if you're looking for just a good cotton blanket.

Pro: the bound edges all around the blanket give structure to waffle weave. Too often this style blanket stretches and doesn't keep its shape.Cons: the white is more eggshell/ivory than white as pictured. As others have reported, it sheds fistfuls of lint in the dryer at least on first washing. And it shrinks after washing. I have a full sized mattress and thought a queen would give the coverage I was looking for. Instead, I could barely tuck the bottom and have enough cover at the top of the bed and the sides barely cover the mattress. I can't imagine someone with a queen mattress being happy with this blanket.

I’ve bought a few different waffle weave blankets this year and this one is the best. The weave is tight. I will probably buy a few more. The coral is bright and cheery. Takes a long time in the dryer but who cares.

This blanket is good for cool weather and can be doubled up if you need it.

It's ok for the price. Ordered a queen size, but it's definitely more like a single size blanket.Not heavy, not warm. It's really light. Would be good for a summer blanket.
