I absolutely love this perfume! It smells sweet, creamy, and very feminine. What impressed me the most is how long it lasts on my skin—I can still smell it many hours later. The bottle is beautiful and arrived in perfect condition. Great fragrance for the price, and I would definitely buy it again. This is one perfume that will always have a place in my collection!

I picked this up for my wife after looking for a vanilla-based scent that still felt light and wearable, and it has turned out to be a great everyday perfume. Lattafa Yara is such a beautiful fragrance! If you love sweet, creamy, fruity perfumes with a soft vanilla base, this is definitely one to try. It has a very feminine, pretty scent without being overwhelmingly floral or sugary. The first spray is bright and fruity with the tangerine, but I also notice a soft, almost powdery floral quality from the orchid and heliotrope. Once it starts settling down, that’s when Yara really becomes addictive to me. The tropical fruits and gourmand notes come through and give it this creamy, almost dessert-like sweetness. It reminds me of a fruity, creamy treat rather than a sharp or syrupy fruit perfume. The dry down is probably my favorite part. The vanilla, sandalwood, and musk blend together beautifully and leave this soft, warm, creamy scent on the skin. The vanilla is noticeable without smelling like straight vanilla extract, and the sandalwood gives it a smooth warmth while the musk keeps everything soft and slightly powdery. What I really enjoy about Yara is how everything blends together. I don’t get one note overpowering everything else. It goes from fruity and slightly citrusy in the opening to creamy and gourmand, then settles into a warm vanilla-musk scent. It smells cozy, feminine, sweet, and almost fluffy. This is the kind of perfume I could easily wear during the day but also spray on after a shower just because I want to smell good around the house. If you enjoy vanilla, tropical fruit, creamy gourmand, soft floral, and powdery fragrances, I think Yara is absolutely worth trying. The bottle is gorgeous too and looks so pretty sitting with the rest of my perfumes. I completely understand why this one has become so popular!

First, to comment on the smell, in the beginning, I absolutely did not like it. My sister and father also had the same reaction to the first spray as well. But after a few days or so, I began to wear it, and I was very pleased in how the scent changed and grew on me. My dad loves it now too, lol. I got so many compliments on this scent, and while it’s not the best thing I’ve ever smelled, the people around me love it and so do I! My friend also asked me about what I had on and she went to buy it, and at first she said it didn’t smell as good on her as it did on me, then a few weeks later she said she loved it. So if you don’t like it at first, I’m guessing that’s normal, just wait a while and see how it grows on you. I also pair mine with fragrance oil and body mists now, and I get so many compliments. This fragrance works great with others, so if you don’t love it by itself, try it with something else and see if that works for you.SCENT:The scent is a subtle sweet with a hint of floral. It’s not overpowering at all, very warm. It gives a youthful feel, but not childlike. I don’t get strawberries from this scent, but it would go great with a strawberry oil or something.Just a tip, spray it from a distance from you so it lays on you in a misty way (you get more out of the scent this way).FOR THOSE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR A BETTER DEAL ON SHEIN:In the photo with 2 bottles, the one on the left is from Amazon and the one on the right is from SHEIN. I bought both of these at the same time (about 4 months ago) and there are major differences. The price on SHEIN ranges between $10 - $15, and the reviews are decent, but the one from Amazon is better in my opinion. The scents are slightly different as the Amazon bottle is a lot more potent and long lasting. The integrity of the exterior of the bottles are different too…the label of the SHEIN bottle is withering and I’m able to peel it off effortlessly, and I can’t necessarily do that with the Amazon bottle. I could peel off the label on the Amazon bottle if I wanted to, but it’s certainly not as easy. Also, the Amazon logo is holding up perfectly and is not scratching off like the SHEIN bottle. Also the boxes are different as well. The SHEIN box does come with a holographic sticker, but it is not the same as the Amazon sticker.I’m not sure if the SHEIN model is fake, it may just be an older version, but if I were to buy this perfume again (which I did), I would purchase it here from Amazon.

Update #2:Ok… don’t laugh… Well…okay… little…. I’m coming off a Covid high… Showered… Sprayed myself down with Yara and…… I smell of an Intense can of Play-doh! I loved that smell… So! I just hit the Buy button… Again!!!! 💕Update#1:I’ve worn Yara 3 days in a row now. It’s becoming my go to for day and night. It’s just decadent. It can be worn year round. I put two sprays on at night before bedtime. I smell it throughout the night and I can still smell it when I wake up in the morning. My husband says I smell beautiful. He loves it! I keep trying to pick out all the scents in it. I’m down to: Very light floral, marshmallowy creamy pineapple, amber, vanilla and a slight powdery scent. Just Yummy without being juvenile. I did receive Candy and Tous. Both are a big NO for me. Candy smells like a juvenile and cheap dime store cotton candy fragrance and Tous smells like a cheap floral and incense fragrance. A big No Go on those two for me but Yara? I BIG YES!! I now own 3 bottles of it because I’m scared they’ll stop making it.Original Review:Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! I was perusing on Amazon like I always do and found myself looking at perfume again. This bottle popped up in my daily items of “ You Might Like These”. The pink bottle caught my eye and I had to look and read about it. Of course all the positive reviews were there but I was like “Does it really smell that good?” It’s an Arabic perfume and my mind and nose started saying it’s going to smell like incense. So I read some more about it, cruised past it, came back to it and decided to buy it. I convinced myself if it smells bad, at least the bottle is pretty. 💁. So a couple days go by and it arrives. No leaks, well packaged and bottle looked just like the photo. So… how does it smell? Yummy! Yummy! Yummy! No incense! I smell, a juicy citrus, almost pineapple like, amber, vanilla, a little bit powdery, it’s absolutely decadent and beautiful! It’s not a juvenile gourmand fragrance. Get BBW out of your head. I really can’t describe all these different scents in it. One second my nose captures a beautiful pink flower and then it shifts to juicy tropical fruits, then it shifts to a light airy powdery scent. This perfume makes me feel beautiful! The sillage is pretty good. I put on two sprays and it lasted about 8 hours. Right out of the bottle it’s a bit in your face but give it about 10 minutes and the dry down is mesmerizing. This perfume is beautiful! I immediately ordered another bottle of the Yara and purchase two other scents while I was at it-Tous and Candy. Go ahead and hit the Buy Button. You won’t regret this purchase if you are a gourmand scent person.

Después de ver hablar tanto de este perfume me decidí y lo compré.Llegó muy rápido desde Alemania ,antes de la fecha estimada a pesar de que era festivo aquí en España, y llegó en buen estado.Al olerlo me dejó descolocada porque me esperaba un aroma muy dulzón a fresa y crema y bajo mi punto de vista no ha sido así.Es dulce pero suave, no es empalagoso y en mi piel predominan más los aromas florales que los frutales, me decepciona un poco que no me huela a esas fresas con crema tan potente de las que todo el mundo habla, pero es que huele taaaaan bien que no puedo quejarme.La duración es bastante baja, a medida que pasa el tiempo se van percibiendo otras notas en el perfume más frutales.Sin duda es un perfume que usaré en primavera/verano.Resumiendo,estoy bastante contenta con el perfume, a pesar de que en mi piel casi no dura, me ha sorprendido para bien, es el segundo perfume de Lattafa que tengo y es un gran descubrimiento.El envase es precioso, aunque sea de plástico se nota que tiene buenos acabados y me parece una monería de bote.Y por último, es 100% auténtico, iba con un poco de miedo por si me mandaban una falsificación, aunque lo compré en el vendedor Lattafa directamente, siempre hay una duda, pero al comprobar el código QR que trae la caja te lleva a la web oficial, así que sí, es original.
