Question 1

Would this be good for a yucca tree?

Accepted Answer

Yes but you will need a few bags dependent on the size of the tree!
I repotted a yucca with this soil but I mixed it with a cheaper cactus product given the volume needed!

Question 2

Is this good for a Chinese money plant

Accepted Answer

Yes, my money plant loves this potting mix abd thrives nicely.

Question 3

Can this be used to repot aloe vera and an orchid ?

Accepted Answer

An orchid will typically need a different type of soil made up of bark, it may grow in cacti soil, but it won't thrive/bloom. Orchid mix is typically a fiver per bag. They also enjoy an orchid drip feed inserted into the soil and enjoy bottom watering weekly and daily misting in the summer, so make sure you pot your orchid in a plastic container with holes at the bottom so your roots get to soak. They enjoy an north or east facing window.
During the winter months, limit watering to once every 2 weeks and stop giving the drip feed to allow your orchid to enter dormancy.

My aloe vera plants love this potting mix, aloes typically enjoy a more neglected (dry) approach, south- west facing windows, water 2 weekly with cactus & succulent fertalizer during the summer months. In the winter, limit your watering to once a month with no fert.

Both plants need very different conditions to thrive, I guess it comes down to how invested you want to be.

Question 4

Is it good for aloe vera?

Accepted Answer

Yes, my aloe plants love this potting mix, so much so, my aloe vera has produced babies!

Remember, your aloe enjoys neglect. During the summer months water once every 2 weeks using a cacti and succlent fertalizer. Position in a south/west facing window.
During winter months, do not use fert and limit watering to once a month.
