Marine Board HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) Plastic Sheet 1/2" x 24" x 48” Black Color Textured

Worked perfectly! I used this material for making a winter companionway for my sailboat so the teak one could be removed for the winter. The material seems very durable and was easy to work with using standard work working tools. It also has enough strength for security. The material is not transparent at all which is what I wanted. It reminds me of what some cutting boards are made of. It does scratch fairly easily so I wouldn’t want to use this material for a summer hatch because it wouldn’t look very good after awhile, but it’s perfect for winter storage.

Arrived in good condition. Used it for stair well cover on an RV. Cut on table saw, routed edges with round over bit. Cut edges can be sanded, but not the textured surfaces. Happy with finished product. Material is soft, scratches easily and has high static charge, picks up dust easily. Impervious to water, good for wet locations. Would buy again. Expect this will last several years though.

I doubled this up and used it for a transom on a 14' john boat. Shipping caused some minor dings on the corners, but no problem for me. Happy with the results. Stiff enough and will not rot. Maybe a little priceier then marine grade plywood for the same amount, but who would sell a 1 X 4 ft one inch sheet of plywood. Cheaper then buying a sheet of this locally.

I made this coffee table and had issues with it being top heavy. I purchased this HDPE and it not only solved the issue but it also complimented the look of the table. This is a great product!

I used it to cap fence posts. It extends their life by shedding water, the squirrels can't chew on them, & with the reflective side up, it scares away birds from "given them the business", if you know what I mean.

Has anyone ever used this as a rock guard on the front of a utility trailer? Thanks!

Similar to working with wood. Cuts beautifully ! If your application for this product is for outside, definitely by the "Marine Grade" as it's made super tough for outside environments.
