A disappointing batch
I’ve bought dried figs from this brand before and have generally liked them, but unfortunately this time was a real disappointment. I bought two 500 g packs, and both were equally poor in quality. The figs were very small and extremely dry, with some being so tough and chewy that they were difficult to eat. Even the crunchy seeds, which I usually enjoy in dried figs, had an unpleasant texture this time and felt almost gritty while chewing. It’s disappointing because I’ve purchased this brand before and had a much better experience. I hope this was just a bad batch, but both packs being the same makes me hesitant to buy them again.
