The perfect stand-in for impaired digestive enzymes
For several years, I was trying to understand why certain things I ate or drank caused severe digestive upset - painful bloating, diarrhea and vomiting. It was happening to me several times a week and it was triggered by certain things I ate or drank. It finally became clear that my body had impaired sucrase enzymes. These enzymes usually exist in your intestinal track in your brush bundle area, and break down sucrose (sugar), splitting apart its two halves, fructose and glucose. Intoleran by Starchway, stands in to do the job that sucrase, used to do, only it does so in the digestive track, rather than in the intestinal track. I take this pill a minute before I put something sugary into my mouth. It absolutely has eliminated painful gas, bloating and the other bad symptoms. On a side note, I made another dietary change. I have substituted table sugar for pure dextrose powder. Dextrose is just glucose. Because it does not have a fructose component, there is nothing to break down. So I've made two powerful changes in my diet: dextrose in my tea, coffee or recipes, and Intoleran Starchway preemptively for those times where my food contains pure sugar. This combo has cured me of these symptoms. I highly recommend this product. It works very well.

Finally, a solution
I researched Intoleran for several years before it came to the U.S. and was beyond excited when it got here and was available on Amazon. After reading that it was available in Europe, I had looked for it in multipe countries and multiple pharmacies in each country to no avail. Why, you ask? The inability to break down sucrose was wreaking havoc on someone I love. Watching the pain he was in after eating any sugar, and the restrictive nature of his diet concerned me. The alternative to this product is expensive and requires refrigeration. That just didn't work unless we were home eating and then wasn't sustainable. Then Intoleran came to Amazon, and I ordered some. There was little belief that this small pill would change our lives, but it did. We now go out to eat without fear, and his diet has expanded and is healthier. Is it effective? For us it was amazing. It was a game changer and gave us back freedom we missed. Note that this isn't a medical opinion. It's a story of what works for us.

Ok
Please don't work so great for me but everyone is different. You should probably give him a try if you have an issue and see if they work for you.

Aids digestion
Helps my digestive system with foods that can upset my stomach. I take 1-2 capsules before eating certain foods to alleviate bloating.

Couldn't tolerate due to filler!
I have CSID and cannot tolerate sugar and starches especially from grains. Because of my food restrictions and trying to reincorporate foods back into my diet, I ordered these as suggested by my pharmacist. I used only 2 capsules of the pack for meals and I became very itchy after taking them. They contain dextrose in their filler which is derived from corn! I cannot tolerate grains and their sugars at all even in this form, so it was a waste of money and I was told could not return or get refunded.

Works well and is convenient
This product is a great option for sufferers of CSID. For my family member, it makes digestion of sugars and starches possible and works much better, and is more convenient, than the only doctor-prescribed drug available.

Affordable alternative to Sucraid
If you're looking at this product, chances are you've heard of Sucraid. You also might know that Sucraid is rarely covered by insurance and can cost more than $10k. Absurd. While I don't know how effective Sucraid is, this product did the job for me. I "tested" it by eating gelato (usually problematic for me because of the sugar), and I would say this relieve about 85% of the discomfort. Nothing is perfect and I didn't expect it to be, but it did the job superbly.
