## Questions & Answers

**Q: Length of pole.. when fully extended**
A: The length does not extend.

**Q: Anyone have a long term review of this? Durability? Parts availability?**
A: It’s a Makita! I’ve trimmed our Photinia hedge (about 150’ long, 7’ high) twice a year for the past 3 years…….and it works like new! One of the best tools I have ever invested in!

**Q: Will this work to cut cattails?**
A: I believe it would. We have cut forsythias and burning bushes with this many times. It has been a great tool for us.

**Q: Are the blades replaceable or may they be removed for sharpening?**
A: I suspect you could purchase replacement blades from Makita. It would seem that it would take forever to sharpen by hand and almost impossible keep the proper cutting angle.
