These clamps are a quality product at an extremely great value and are a perfect solution for mounting almost anything to 1.5" tubing. I have ordered two sets of these over the past couple of years for separate projects and have been very pleased with them. They provide a very solid durable mounting point for anything from lights to gun mounts to accessory mounts. I recently used these for shovel/accessory mounts on my SxS which is used on a daily basis on our farm. They are a perfect size and design that provides versatility for fitting them in tighter spots for mounting lights or other accessories. My first purchase of these were used on a bumper for our in=laws golf cart and I mounted LED lights on them. All in all, if you need a quality mount at a very reasonable price, don't hesitate to purchase.

I bought these brackets to mount an unknown model windshield to my 86 Virago that I picked up locally. Being as old as it is, finding a model specific windshield was difficult. Either they were they cheesy looking 1980's type that mount on the handlebars or they were $400 plus dollars and would need fabrication. I measured my forks using some calipers and started searching for options. These came up in the list - not the cheapest but not the most expensive. They had good reviews so I figured "why not?". I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised. These brackets were well packaged (not that I care about that) and came with the allen key needed to mount them. Fit and finish on them is quite nice with no chips or runs in the coating. I only wish they came in a chromed or raw aluminum finish, but black is fine. They mounted up perfectly and hold quite well. A winner in my book. I'll add pics when I get a chance.

Really nice mount

These brackets are useful for mounting way more than just lights. I'm using them to turn the popular private-branded rooftop basket into an everything-carrier. As others have said, these work great for mounting quick-fists. They also work great for mounting Thule ski/board/fishing pole racks. A testament to their strength -- I'm using 4 of these along the top basket bar to mount an ARB 2500 awning. Note in the pics that I've also drilled through the steel side plate of the basket to secure the bottom edge of the awning. I wouldn't necessarily trust these brackets alone to hold the full weight of the awning, but with my current configuration I've had zero issues at highway speeds and offroad. The only thing I plan on swapping out are the mounting bolts as the ones that come with the awning are just a little short when mounting through these brackets and don't have threads showing past the nut. All in all, these are quality brackets that fit and work as designed. Minor update: I've ordered several of these clamps in different sizes. This review says it's for the 1" diameter clamps, but the top tube is using the 0.875" clamps. The bottom tube on my rack is 1".

These things are great! They fit the FJ's rack perfectly, and have held up very well over a lot of off-roading. I have them holding my 270 awning and a couple of flags and antenna mounts. I probably have 15000 miles of hard off road tracks on them, and yes, they do rotate slightly under the weight after a bunch of miles (at least for the awning, but it's pretty heavy and hanging off some other brackets attached to them, i.e., lots of leverage), but I only have to adjust them once a year. I tried some other bar clamps before these, and they just couldn't take it. I just buy these now when I need to mount something. I have them holding my 270, my shovel, my traction boards, my solar panel, my flags, and my antennas. Definitely a great product! I do wish the bolts that come with them were just a tiny bit longer though.... but that's the only issue I have. Would recommend and will buy again!

So...I measured my tubing and came up with a sizing of 1.75" exactly. That being said, I ordered the 1.75 clamp thinking it would fit based off the description. NOPE. The clamp itself without insert was too big, and the clamp using the rubber insert was too small. I tried using half a clamp and that didnt work either. Nothing was making this '1.75"' clamp fit around my 1.75" tubing. So I wrote to the company and they very simply explained to me that they have 2 sized clamps and the only difference between ordering the different sizing is the 'rubber inserts' that are included with the clamp you choose. That was very simply put, and makes sense, but to be honest...I did not gather that conclusion based off their descriptions. Anyway...I decided to write to Garvin ( the makers of the rack I have on my Jeep) and they confirmed their sizing to be 1.75". Still, was not adding up. So I bit the bullet and just decided to order the 1.85" clamp. This time, the item arrived in 2 separate boxes and was stuffed with every sized rubber insert, unlike the 1.75" clamp I ordered. Im not sure if the company noticed I had a sizing issue and decided to be kind enough to do this when I placed a second order, or if there is just some weird packaging issue they have within their company, but I am glad this occurred, because the only I was able to get a secure fit after trying every insert (1.65, 1.75, 1.85 and 2" inserts), was by using one half of a 1.75" rubber insert, and one half of the 2" insert. Any other combination and rubber inserts was too big or too loose. That being said...its very wonky sizing somewhere on their end, and would end up having someone having to order more that one set of clamps just to get the additional rubber insert sizing..?? The clamps themselves seem very sturdy and good quality (4 STAR), but would be nice if they included some other fitting solution as to make the ordering experience less painful (-1 STAR)

Fits perfectly, made very solid

I used the House Tuning 1.125" Round Bar Clamps to secure a pair of air compressors to my motorcycle. The design, materials and finish of the components are high quality. I've used House Tuning's clamps previously and was very pleased with the product. If and when I need more bar clamps, I will be choosing them from House Tuning's product line.
