Perfect for the things I need to store while on a ride.
Awesome tail bag. It holds everything i need. I keep my registration, 2 pairs of gloves, tire inflator, waterproof cover, a large hoodie folded up, my head phones, a Gatorade, a knife, glasses, wallet and could fit more if I had anything else to carry. Simple to install.

Probably 4.5 stars, but not perfect
This is a great size for anyone needed additional storage (like on a sportbike) but don't want something that going to be too bulky and ugly. If you're carrying more than a water bottle of a small lunch, those smaller 10L, 12.5L, and 15L bags are going to all be too small. I ordered all of them and settled on this one for an upcoming Lake Superior circle tour that I'm going on with my 1st Gen Hayabusa. This bag is to compliment the hard luggage and tank bag that I already have. We'll be camping so I needed just a bit more storage space for bulky items, like my lightweight sleeping bag. This tail bag matches the footprint of the rear seat pretty well. Compared to the cheaper/smaller bags, this has many more storage compartments (all with zippers) and the expansion zipper increases the already ample storage considerably. The included buckle straps are long enough to wrap around my seat and seat frame but I had to completely take them apart and reconfigure them to work for my purposes. I wanted to run the strap from the D-ring on the bag, around the seat bottom, and back to another D-ring. This is not possible with the way the straps come and they are not particularly easy to adjust. I think some good velcro strapping, with cinch buckle, would be a much more versatile option. The other thing I didn't love was that the bag is not waterproof/resistant without the included cover. The top portion of the bag is zippered along the length of each side but only captured by weak velcro across the very rear of the bag. It seems like the zippers could work their way open when traveling at high speed (cough: Hayabusa). I plan to tie the zipper pulls together to prevent this but this bag would benefit from better design here. Water is also going to get into this area very easily if you get caught in the rain and don't have time to install the cover. The rain cover has very strong elastic and is well sized for the bag. It feels like it's going to be too small at first, but does stretch enough to cover the bag. The tight fit is a good thing and should keep the wind from ripping it to shreds, though that is TBD. I was able to squeeze my helmet into the bag, when fully empty, and expanded. I'm running a HJC RPHA 91 modular helmet. If the bag were any smaller, a full faced helmet would not fit. Overall, I'm pretty excited to use this bag and will report back if there are any durability issues. Should have a 1000 miles on it in a few weeks.

Nice Bag!
Great bag! Bigger than it looks. Holds quite a lot! Some people have complained that it's tricky to install. I didn't have any problems! I used it recently for a weekend trip from Syracuse NY to CT to see family, and it added quite a bit of storage capacity. Between this bag, my saddlebags, and my tour pack, I could go on the road for a month or more, easily!

Only average
I bought this bag thinking that was a hard bag and it is not. It came packed in a single & clear plastic bag with the shipment label on it. The bag came totally folded or compressed. The straps doesn't seem to be enough to fixed in the bike, I will update on this later. The waterproof cover is too short and barely covers 3/4s of the bag when the extension is opened. The bag looks small in a picture but actually is good enough to get the helmet in. The materials are not bad and the zippers close really well. I set the bag in a CRF300L and looks nice.

Very well made
This is a very nice case but I had to send it back because it was too small for my needs.

Nice Bag - Hard to mount.
This is a very nice bag but there is one big flaw. The straps that mount the bag have very poor tightening method and it is almost impossible to tighten the straps properly. After fiddling with it for a long time I don't think it will fall off but why not use the same pull adjustment everyone else uses ??

Almost 5 stars...
This bag held up fine thru my10 day riding trip. Its 40L capacity fit my need well, no need to extent to 50L. The zippers and Velcro work super fine. It hold its shape and functionality great. All of its provided tiedowns are used to secure the bag in its place. The rain bag flies around violently and is put away after the first trial, for good. The front pouch where the reflective stripes are can be doubled as a backrest on my Street Glide. These reflective tripes to me are on the wrong end; for brand logo end of the bag, in majority of cases, is facing rearward. The major complain: the bottom is made of thinner material that can't withstand the 10 day ride. It already shows signs of fraying and damaged areas where they touched the metal luggage rack. For future usage, I might have to duct tape those spots for reinforcement. That is why the 4 star rating. Overall, it is a fine bag.

Better than expected, fits perfect. Well made and should last a long time.

Took a little creative mounting. Mount points are low on the bag so I had to figure a way to come under the bag to create pull. Straps are very long! Comes with two strap styles. Bag moves around slightly but not an issue. Had to periodically check straps, seem to loose tension after a few hundred km's. Good volume of space, side pockets are a plus. Expandable and rain cover, great bag to the price.
