Luggage Straps for Suitcases TSA Approved Travel Belt 4 Pack by Chelmon(Orange)

I purchased these straps to visually identify my small black carry on and also use them to latch one suitcase to another if needed. The color is nice and bright. Straps are as described. The latches look like they will be durable.

These straps are great to keep your pregnant soft suitcase together. Took it on many flights for our tour of Europe also on trains. So visible to spot and keep our eyes on it! A great investment for luggage safety! My husbands new case started to split in one spot after our second flight it was American Tourist a nice case don’t know how that happened but these straps helped out so much we just put it over that bad spot and it survived 3 weeks of traveling through many airports!!!

First off, great bright green color, seem sturdy and the plastic parts are fairly thick, good overall quality. There are pros and seemingly cons to these. I just bought my first piece of hard side luggage and read these help prolong the bags life. I wanted to use these to help hold the bag together and use them as an easy marker, since my luggage is a generic color. I just came back from my first trip where I had a ~2hr direct flights each way. I used 2 straps horizontally, if the bag were upright. This bag has a built-in TSA approved lock that I did NOT use. Upon getting my bag in my destination city, one strap was completely missing. And it was obvious my bag had been opened/searched. While it’s possible, I highly doubt the strap broke. I think it’s more likely that whomever opened it couldn’t get it back on and instead of adjusting it a bit, they just didn’t put it back on. On the return trip I put the strap on the same way, but in the middle and looped it through the handle, again not using the lock. It arrived with the strap on, but it was obvious my bag had been opened again. It was suggested that perhaps my bag got searched both times simply because it had the strap/s. I’m not hiding anything in my luggage, but it is a bit annoying when it’s clear someone has gone through/messed up my carefully packed items. I’m going to keep using them, thee straps themselves work well. just be aware you may have a higher chance of being searched and having your personal items gone through.

So far these work great. I like that there are a few because I purchased another and it was lost first trip. So far these guys are hanging on, and make my suitcase stand out as well as hold it together should it ever break open

I just tried to put these onto my suitcase and for the life of me could not figure out easily how to adjust them to fit tight. It took me 20 minutes of guessing to get one strap to sort of fit and I gave up on trying to add more until my frustration level drops. WHY can't you put in some easy to follow instructions on how to use these?? It's not self evident and it was so frustrating to go back and forth to get even close to a tight fit but is still not right. It seems there's no way to adjust these when put around the suitcase so you're left guessing on how much to try to adjust them on your own.

I got these straps for a couple reasons. I was going to Germany and Austria traveling by plane and train and I was hoping they would help me identify my luggage quickly and also secure it. I never got my luggage in Germany… and by the time it made it back home 1 week after I got home, the strap was gone. Luckily I have 3 more. I won’t give up, the straps are heavy duty and well made!

Excellent straps for my suitcases .. have to fasten them real tight though .. but stay in really well .. good value for money - makes identification of our suitcases much easier

Excellent and durable

The straps are not the same as shown! They have a triangular piece of metal next to the buckle ( see pic) that means you can't use them in a straight line making them useless!!!
