Review: Nice woodburning scent and lasts about 15 minutes - It's a decent enough incense and has a nice, light woodburning scent that's reminiscent of a campfire. The bricks are a little small and last about 15 minutes. They are not difficult to light, but you have to make sure you get the entire end in the match flame and make sure the whole thing is burning for a few seconds before you blow it out so that it can properly smolder. The bricks can easily fall over and do need a holder. Since the ends are square in shape, I just stuck it in a small lump of clay weatherstripping and it works just fine. A small lump of Play-Doh would work as well. Overall, a nice scent. Makes the room smell like there's a fireplace burning away. Pretty cozy on a snowy winter's day.

**Q: Where are these manufactured**

We are manufactures of natural wood incense and we specialize in the fragrances of the west including our famous Piñon incense. All of our products are manufactured by hand in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

**Q: Are these hard to light? Other ones I had to use the stove because I thought it would drain the light fluid.**
A: Our bricks are larger than most incense cones, making them a bit harder to light. The upside to this is that they burn longer and produce more incense. Hold the brick over a flame until the brick burns by itself. This will cause the brick to expand at the burning end. After the brick has stopped flaming, gently blow on the burning ember. Place the brick in the center of the censer (or incense burner), unlit end down. If the brick should fall over or is laid on its side, the flame may go out.

**Q: I'm looking for incense with the sweet smell of a closed or freshly opened pinion pine cone.  Does the wood incense have a sweet scent?**
A: This Pinon incense smells exactly as if I'm in the Southwest. I personally don't think of it as sweet smelling. I truly smell Pinon wood. I think you'll love this. Especially around the Holidays, I use it a lot and I'm always complimented on the smell of my home even after a few days of not lighting one to burn.

**Q: Can I use these bricks in my indoor fireplace with other wood?**
A: Think of our incense as miniature pieces of firewood.  They are 1" in length by .25" in width by 1" in height.  We recommend burning these incense using an incense holder.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Imagine a desert at night, and a crackling campfire...

This incense is the smell of a southwestern desert, of a campfire, of woodsmoke. It is the scent of the outdoors, pure and untainted - not perfumed or "fancy". When I was stuck in the heart of the Big City, I used to burn this to remind me of how it felt to drive through the desert at night, or camp in the deep woods with smoke from the firepit curling into my nostrils. Now that I live out in the Deep Woods... I burn it for more of the same. Note that this stuff is a bit hard to light - a long-nosed grill lighter works better than your average Bic, you'll burn your thumbs trying - and you need to set it on a surface more fireproof than your average incense burner, as when it burns down to the base it will get VERY hot and may crack or scorch a lesser surface. But the Incienso De Santa Fe incenses absolutely RULE when it comes to pure, unadulterated wood scents; no stick or cone incense I've ever found could match 'em. If that's the sort of scent you like, you will love this stuff, indubitably.
