Great Outdoor Movie Projector!
This is my first projector. So I’m not coming at this with a spreadsheet of specs or a wall of comparison charts. What I do have is a 150” diagonal screen in my backyard, a love for movies, and a newfound appreciation for what a budget-friendly projector can actually do. 🌟 From Office Snoozers to Outdoor Stunners Most of my projector experience before this was in office settings—PowerPoint decks, grainy text, and colors that looked like they were afraid to commit. Even the “high-end” ones left me unimpressed. So when I fired up the BenQ TH575 for our first outdoor movie night, I braced for compromise. Instead, I got outdoor cinema rocking in full, vivid glory. The colors were rich, the image was sharp, and I kept waiting for the grain or fuzziness to show up. It never did. Even though this isn’t a 4K projector, I genuinely don’t feel like I’m missing anything. The clarity is that good. 🌅 Brightness That Buys You Time At 3800 lumens, this thing is bright. Maybe even too bright for some setups—but for outdoor use, it’s a dream. I can start a movie right at dusk, and the image holds up beautifully. That means we’re not waiting until full dark to kick things off, which is a win in my urban neighborhood where late-night noise isn’t exactly welcome. 🎮 Bonus Round: Mario Kart Under the Stars We’ve also used it for Nintendo nights, Mario Kart with the kids on the big screen, and I haven’t noticed any input lag or performance hiccups. It’s smooth, responsive, and way more fun than crowding around a living room TV. 🍿 Final Verdict If you’re looking for a projector that turns your backyard into a pop-up cinema, the BenQ TH575 delivers. It’s not 4K, but it doesn’t need to be. It’s bright, colorful, and surprisingly refined for the price.

Great projector!
Best budget gaming projector! Crystal clear 1080p, 3800 lumens makes it bright enough for daytime, and it’s very responsive (16ms lag). Colors pop and it’s easy to set up.

Great, cost effective and bright.
Bright, even in moderate sun. Loud enough so it can fill a moderate size living room w/o additional speakers. Has several built in setting, but is also very customisable and the picture is very sharp. It has 2 HDMI ports so we rarely have to do any cable swapping. We have had this project for over a year and are very happy with it. If it had a network connection it would get 5 stars. We attach a Roku type device and do all our streaming using that.

Great results at a modest price.
This is my third projector in 25 years. I have a small entertainment room (approx 14 X 20') that is filled with collectables, film memorabilia, plus an extensive media library, and do not want a large flat screen TV hogging an entire wall. With a motorized screen that drops before a modest Sony Bravia in a shelf set with two full sized speakers, one center speaker, subwoofer and two bookshelf surround behind high on the wall (to prevent wave cancelation and foster ceiling deflection). This arrangement allows for an excellent home theater experience without great expense. The 3D function of the projector is impressive: a high refresh rate makes for a very smooth presentation. Overall, the image is clear, and the contrast is well balanced with a wide color pallette that delivers a cinema quality feel. My screen is 100" but the definition is sharp enough to accommodate a slightly larger format. I held off for one year before writing this review to make sure the unit has worked consistently well. And it has. I also worked as an AV technician, so I have some practical experience to back up my claims. Needless to say, I've been quite satisfied with this little projector.

Great Projector with a Great Price
I have always wanted a projector and after doing a lot of research I bought a projector and did not like it. Having said that it was not this projector, it was a totally different brand. I chose this projector as a replacement for my first projector that I returned, this one had the features that my first one lacked; such as a audio port, zoom, more HDMI ports, and as a bonus Higher lumens. I also like to pay more for good name brands, as in my experience they last longer and work better than the cheap ones. This projector was what I was looking for as my entry level projector, I did not want to go all out on my first projector. The picture is great and clear and at no point have I wished for a clearer 4K resolution, I personally do not notice the noise that comes from it as I don't think it's loud, it stays cool during operation, and it is more than bright enough to watch in a room with lights on. My first big use weekend with it was the weekend of April 13, 2024 to watch The Masters and it did well. I even set my screen up outside on a very sunny 70 degree day in northern Indiana. I set it up in a shady area and it had to be fairly close to the screen for it to be bright enough, but it worked great and I got to watch the masters outside in the great weather we were getting. I got the projector for watching movies inside and outside with my three year old and my wife and it works great for that purpose. I have not really ran my Xbox Series X or PS5 on it yet, but my Nintendo Switch worked great with it and it had no noticeable input lag with the remotes while playing Mario Cart. I would highly recommend this product especially if you are wanting to buy a name brand projector with good specs for a good price. I feel the bang for your buck here is great and I like how versatile it is. It feels quality and I am more than happy with it. FIVE STARS!

I want to preface this review by mentioning that this is my first projector and it has only been a week that I've had it. However, I'm really happy with my purchase so far. The picture quality is great and it truly is bright, even with lights on or during the day with the blinds open. The fan is quiet, which is a plus for me, because the projector stands just above our couch. Perhaps it's not the crispest image for a 1080p projector, but for the price, it really is worth it.

The picture quality is great. It gets a bit warm but as long as you rent using it for hours with out air flow it should be ok. She's quiet as can be too! We use it for games and movies in place of our tv. Longest I have gone gaming with it was 6 hrs. Didn't notice any latency. The speaker from the unit is not great. I hooked up some computer speakers for the time being (situated behind the viewer and reversed) and it's not as bad as expected. The colors and brightness are really great, I've used it in complete dark and with a dim lamp on with little loss to color. One thing I didn't realize when I purchased was that the usb on the back was only for power not reading. That's ok, it powers the Chromecast plugged into it.

Although the projector is a gaming project, console compatible, and the specifications list refresh rate 120 Hz, you cannot game on xbox series x at 120 Hz. Additionally, the 3D modes are all unusable because just they distort the image in different ways. While it is bright, the projector runs hot and loud. But perhaps that's just the case for bulb projectors. Keep in mind that to achieve 120 inch screen requires a good 10 feet of distance. Input lag is certainly low enough to game with for anything but competitive fps games. The picture is uniformly sharp. It is plug and play to set up. So there are good qualities for the projector I really like. However, for full price I will likely return the unit since Amazon's product description was misleading.
