I've enjoyed learning to apply these and my friends are enjoying the added aparkle.

So I really wanted to get the strands in my hair without the hair beads. I also wanted to believe that everyone who had a hard time installing the strands by themselves were being dramatic. They were not. I broke down and used a bead after I was done crying and tried again a couple days later.You have to use juuuuust the right amount of hair and forget the slip knot-i just went ahead and did a knot. Just like you were tying your shoes, but if they were tiny, on top of your head, and you didn't do the bow. Anyway, once you get that down, you must hold the tinsel as close to your head as possible while tying several knots with your hair and one, or both of the strings.It was easier after a little wine, I'm not gonna lie.As for these strands in particular, this is my first set so I have nothing to compare it to, but I did break two strands while tieing them in. Oh and they loooooove static electricity. I got zapped real good changing the bedding. Good value for money though I think.

Tinsel will not staying hair no matter how tight you tie it. Ridiculous don't buy without the litter pieces of metal that clamps down on your hair

Hand tie doesn't work is didn't come with beads or a looper for install

I got this for my daughter's sleepover, loved the tinsel and the pliers were fantastic but the bead/hair threader thing was trash, the wore broke on the first little bit of resistance it met..
