Review: Build quality is excellent on both of these STEM cars. - Built both these cars, one remote controlled battery operated, the other solar-powered, with my two grandsons this past weekend. The four year old was excited to help gather parts and assemble the easier parts like axels and wheels. The six year old was able, with guidance, to assemble almost all the parts, including connecting the motor and wires. Everyone was quite excited to see both cars work so beautifully. They inspired hours of conversation about electricity, grids, solar power, how it all works, etc. All parts, wood and metal, plastic and rubber are very durable and accurately machined to easily fit and stay together. Highly recommend this excellent kit for curious scientific minds.
Review: Kids loved it. - We painted our cars before putting them together and it just added to the fun! It did require a bit of figuring it out but, isn't that why we by toys like these. I recommend to set aside some time (it took each of my kids a different length of time) to finish.

Built both these cars, one remote controlled battery operated, the other solar-powered, with my two grandsons this past weekend. The six year old was able, with guidance, to assemble almost all the parts, including connecting the motor and wires. Everyone was quite excited to see both cars work so beautifully.
