Unless you are applying it to a polished surface, it has difficulty sticking. I applied it to "sanded" plywood and it was a nightmare - full of bubbles and refusing to stick. I wanted to extend a real black-marble counter with this faux piece to make it fit a corner. Side by side it is obviously no where near the same as the real marble. Also, with the sticking problem, the only thing that allows it to barely work is that it is behind the real counter and in a bit of an out-of-the-way place. I'm hoping no one gets close enough to notice how badly this product looks.

Kinda hard to install alone. Definitely takes 2 or more people if you're not familiar with this kind of installation. It made my crusty old desk look much better.
