Overall, this is a nice product. The one that I received is well made with no flaws. It has nice details. As is stated, you can hang it or stand it up. If standing on a surface, I recommend putting some felt pads on the bottom of it to keep it from scratching any surfaces. I'm not exactly sure what kind of metal it is made from. It has a brass appearance, but I'm pretty sure it is something else. In the end, I am happy with it, and I find it to be a good value for what you get.
