Method All-Purpose Cleaning Wipes, Lime + Sea Salt, 70 Count (Pack of 6)

I have never felt the need to buy a case of cleaning wipes yet here I am, justifying $40 because I love these wipes so much. I am a big fan of Method anyway and have used the grapefruit and lavender scented wipes for years. Lysol and Clorox wipes make my hands crack and dry out, they have their place when disinfecting but for every day use the less chemicals the better. Highly recommended, I wish this scent was available in other Method products.

I generally use Lysol kitchen counter wipes, but due to media induced panic, hoarders have depleted many things I used to use everyday. With few choices out there, I bought these. Not impressed, here's why: 1) As several reviewers have stated, they are not wet enough. Sure, you can turn them upside down, but what little liquid in there, will leak out. The next container I opened, I decided to take the roll out and put it back in upside down, thinking that all the liquid settled on the bottom. Nope, still barely moist, didn't change anything. They just don't have enough liquid. 2) The scent. I guess it's a more natural smell than some disinfecting wipes, but it is a very strong lime smell. They smell like a cheap men's cologne, and the scent will stay on your skin, takes a good washing to remove it. 3) They don't disinfect, but to be fair they don't claim to. 4) They streak terribly. After you wipe down the counter, and it dries, you see hazing and streaks everywhere, VERY noticeable. My Lysol disinfecting counter wipes dried without streaking. 5) They are overpriced. I don't like these at all, but I didn't want to give it one star because they are usable. I just won't buy them again.

I feel so lucky to have found these on amazon during the pandemic. I was hesitant to order so many but they will go to good use. I love the lime smell. I like using these for everyday cleaning vs. clorox or lysol wipes because I feel like those are a little harsh for everyday use. These have less chemicals and clean great. I don't think they are anti bacterial but the clean up a mess in the kitchen and everywhere else in the house really well.

By far favorite cleaning wipes to use. I have two kids under 4 and it’s the only one I’ll use!
