Fantastic Set of Sights!
First of all let me say that I don't work for these guys nor know them. I paid for the sights just like you will so my review is as honest as I can possibly make it. In the end, you have to make your opinions but hopefully this review will help you decide. On to the review: I got these a few days ago and didn't really expect them to be solidly built. Boy, was I ever surprised when I tore open the package! These sights are well built and installed in about 30 seconds. Good solid adjustment on the rear sight and they fit in under my optics without issue. 45 Degree Offset Backup Iron Sights By Ozark Armament for Ar15 Rifles Picatinny Mount >>Observations on fit and finish: 1) The machining seems to be precise and not something from a fly-by-night operation. There's almost no tool marks visible and no evidence of chipped or worn tooling in the finish. 2) The finish is even and well distributed. It appears to be a very well applied black oxide finish and should hold up to years of normal wear and tear. 3) Installation was very quick using the supplied hex key and my existing rails. I was able to feel at ease tightening the dove tails unlike some other products I've purchased online over the years. 4) The flip-up rear is very firm and has no noticeable slop, which to me means it should stay where I need it to when I need it to. 5) The adjustable slide for the rear sight is very snug and has definite resistance and feel for the adjustments being made. All in all I'd say this sight setup is a solid purchase for anyone needing a good set of backups for their rifle. I will definitely pick up more of these as I add to my collection. Absolutely great product and at this price point you can't go wrong.

Solid buy for twenty dollars
I got these sights for my spikes ar of which I already have a 3-9 x 40 on. Wanted a one-size-fits-all set up for my rifle and I figured for twenty bucks I couldn't go wrong with these 45 degree sights. I have not sighted these in yet but I am very impressed with the build quality and polished look of the sights. Amazon said these were on sale for twenty originally 80 bucks. At that price point I feel like these are a no brainer considering how expensive buis can get. Make no mistake- these are not flip up and there are no fiber optic/ night sights. They are slightly bulky, but fit and function well while complimenting a legit optic. Ozark armament did a very good job with these in my opinion. I don't have to have 'name brand' equipment- as long as it does it's job I'm okay. And I think these will do their job very well. Sights come with the proper sized hex wrench to tighten down the sights when installed. I would recommend loc-tite on the bolts as well to keep them fastened down. Ozark did a fantastic job with shipping. I paid for two day and they arrived last week on Christmas eve.

The right combo of price and function
Putting together the last bits of a budget build, and realized that my choice of primary optic (a fixed-magnification prism scope) precluded the use of my on-hand Magpul BUIS. So, I shopped around a bit for offset sights and landed on these for their combination of price and positive reviews. Thoughts, after installation, but before my first range trip โ out of the box they seem functional and easy to work with. Mounted to my pic rail with no issue; one out by the muzzle; the other just forward of my scopeโs ring above the ejection port. Stays high and tight enough to the receiver to avoid ejected casings. Not very heavy but seems to be built right, out of metal and not polymer. Rear sight is beefy and has your common adjustments for windage and so forth, along with big ears to protect the sight itself. There sterns to be some wobble to the ears which is a little off-puttingโฆ but if it were CNCโd to razor tolerance theyโd be a lot more expensive, wouldnโt they? lol. Front sight is non-descript and classic AR; perhaps some tritium paint will be in order eventually, to help pick out the all-black silhouette in low-light. First thing I did is flip the rear sight from precision small peep to the much larger battle sight. Itโs quite a bit farther forward than Iโd prefer irons to be, but these will only see use inside 100ft or so. Your mileage may vary of course. Will update after my first range trip with additional thoughts. For now, 4 stars for being intact, good-looking and seemingly well-built, with the fifth star only docked for an honest assessment โ an Olympic-quality diopter this is not and you can feel the difference. Edit โ updated โ these were practically zeroed out of the box. Perfectly serviceable and easily adjustable, and for their intended usage (under 50 ft) they function flawlessly. Happy buyer!

Worth the money and then some.
I bought these for a build I was doing. I was trying to cut costs. where i can and could not justify spending almost the same amount of money on off set irons as a decent red dot so I went with the Ozarks. I am glad I did. There were alot to choose from but these sights were the winners (for me) for the following reasons: 1)Metal Construction- The Ozarks are quality alum. They are off set sights and for me they will be getting banged around enough. I didn't want to risk a set of poly sights vs the corner of a building, truck, etc. (sorry magpul) 2) Fixed > Flip up- Same reason as above; if something has a hinge point it is going to be less durable then something that does not, as well as the fact that they are back up sights. If i was to find myself in a situation where my optic fails and I am resorting to my BACK UP SIGHTS to stay in the fight, I am not going to be wasting time fumbling for the 'quick release' buttons to get my sights up. No thanks. 3) Price 4) Durability These sights have met all four criteria with flying colors. Holds a zero, easy target acquisition, awesome finish. Will buy again and recommend %100

Good, bad and the ugly
If I could sum up this product, it would be "the harbor freight of gun sights". Everyone knows that harbor freight has a bunch of garbage that's not worth buying at all, some stuff that works well after you put time in to tweaking it, and very few items that just work great. These sights fall in to the "work with some tweaking"...possibly. The good-they are solid aluminum. I assume 6061 since it filed down very easily. The rotating knob for windage on the rear sight has a great tactile feel to it with solid detents and the aperture does not wiggle, its locked no matter where you adjust it to. The bad-like almost everyone else, I had trouble securing the front and rear sights to my rail. There was wobble at first but it cinched down after backing in and out a few times. While it is tight, it is at the very edge of being so. There should be more adjustability with this. I'm going to blue loctite the bolts once finally mounted along with safety wire in case it doesn't hold. We use lock wire with all of our sensitive items on firearms at work so we dont lose our red dots, peq-15's etc. Just some peace of mind. The push buttons to flip the sights are nice and stiff so as to not accidentally deploy. Unfortunately the buttons are also very "grindy". The button is actually a bolt that goes all the way through the unit and the shaft and/or the tunnel it goes through is not finished well. This will eventually cause movement as its abrading the surfaces in there and will cause misalignment if the sights are used often. I dont plan on ever using them unless my red dots fail I need them in a pinch. The rear sight has a cutout to clear the spent casing deflector...it doesn't clear it. As you can see in the pic I did some quick filing of a little portion with my Gerber and its good to go. Also with the rear sight, the apertures I thought were well sized for me, but I'm going to lightly sand both holes to take the gloss off. It has a sheen to it that screws up sighting due to reflections..not a big deal The ugly-both sights had a good amount of slop from side to side due to the gap between the base and the flip up portion. I didn't measure this gap at all. But the movement was not acceptable for combat situations. It would never hold the same spot after flipping or probably firing as well. I ended up taking the units apart and inserting a washer to take up the space. I sanded both washers down and test fitted them until they made the unit snug. When reinstalling the push button, I put blue loctite in the oval end "nut" to keep it all together. Not fun and very time consuming. Now the worst part. This may also make the sight completely unusable and all my time in these put to waste. The front sight post...it MOVES about .5 mm off center with the slight push of my finger. This is due to the threads not being cut perfectly. While it was a cheap buy-this is not where to cheap out with sights since the front sight post is the ONLY way to adjust elevation. The rear sight only has windage adjustments. So how to fix this? I'm not sure the method I'm going to try will work, but I'll edit this post to give the results. I plan on first taking the front sight post completely out and wrapping it generously with teflon tape and the reinstalling. I'll then test the movement as well as if it is even centered. If it looks good then I'll zero while checking after each shot if the post held its position. If this does not work I'll move to method 2. Method 2 with be removing all of the teflon tape and reassembling the unit to zero as it came from the factory. Again, I'll make sure to move the sight post back to center after every shot. Once(if) I've zeroed, I'll keep everything as is and flow some red loctite in to the threads. If neither of these methods work the only thing left is to rethread the base unit with an insert...and I'm not doing that. So this is why I call it the"Harbor Freight" of backup sights. A lot of work to make it work, only to hope that it works. I'll post results once i get the rest of my optics and bore sight laser for the most accurate results

Amazing item for AR15
High quality product

Best offset fixed iron sights out there for the dollar.
I rarely write product reviews. Pretty much only if something is really bad, or really good. These BU sights are really good. I've run Troys and other high dollar iron sights which for the most part are good to excellent products but I always felt like I was overpaying for what they are by 5x-10x. I'm pushing retirement age and tell my friends if I had to start a career again I'd make custom parts for tactical firearms. I would have retired long ago... Anyway, in this case I was looking for a couple of fixed (IMO fold-downs are a poor choice for backups. Think about it...) offset backup set for rifles with expensive optics and saw the Ozarks here on Amazon. Lots of 5 star reviews. Hmm. Why not give them a try? Put them on the 2 rifles shown in pics and couldn't be happier. Fit, finish, function. It's all there. I've run 200-300 rounds through each rifle since installing them and the sights remain solid and have held zero perfectly. I admit I'm somewhat surprised, which is sad, in that it's become such a rarity to find a good product at a fair price. These are.

Larp worthy
I wouldn't run these if I was an operator but they work good on my rifle for quick acquisition in close. They don't lay as flat as you would want and a bit of play side to side. Very bottom of the barrel in rule world applications but perfect for larping.
