But my cats are obsessed
I have a newly renovated kitchen that my husband and I have been saving up to do for several years. We redid the living area by the kitchen and had beautiful new flooring installed. It was designed by a very experienced designer. I personally think she is a complete snob but I sucked it up because she had done a fantastic job on my sister’s remodel and my parents. To be honest both if them spent a ton of money on their remodels and I love them. However, most people would feel they went way overboard on the cost of the repairs. For example my sister has two dishwashers. She has redone her kitchen 3 times in the last three years. My mom has unlimited money to throw around and she has new decor and furniture in the house every time I visit, which is quite often. Therefore I felt really unsure about this cat tree. I realize that it’s an eyesore, I know it’s huge and takes up way to much space, I know that people would think it’s weird and ugly if they saw it. However, my cats were very unhappy about their environment. I didn’t realize that they needed a cat friendly environment in order to have a healthier lifestyle. My cats were ruining my furniture, they were yowling in the evenings, they fought each other over who was going to be the dominant one, it was a daily occurrence to have them get into intense battles. I felt like I was a bad mom and I had toys, that I rotated, two filtered water fountains, beds from Mudbay, cat hammocks on the windowsill. I also played with them individually for 15-20 minutes every day. When they cried I would go calm them down and this was happening at 2 and 3 am every morning. Gracie, my oldest was crying bad,y every night and if I went to her and calmed her down she would start up again. My vet said there was no arthritis or issues that Cassie’s pain. He said they had a healthy coat and the food was exceptionally good. However he said they need a cat friendly environment and mine was lacking. Since he is kind of a dick he didn’t even give m suggestions on how to make thugs better. So I went online and learned everything I could about cat trees and how to change things so they felt good. They needed scratching post, they needed something to climb up onto, they needed something that allowed them to look outside, they needed something to nestle in, they needed something that had toys on it to attract them, do you need something extremely sturdy because they are large cats and weigh about 20 pounds. They needed the product to be stable enough for them to climb up on and lay on together when I say they’re big they’re really big. I would say they’re about 20 to 25 pounds so I went and spent all day looking for something. I finally decided that I had to do something that I really didn’t want to which was to buy an ugly looking product, but that still met my needs. There are way more beautiful cat trees out there, but they don’t offer an all in one solution that this one does my husband and I were able to set it up in less than 10 Minutes. It is extremely sturdy and I was really surprised at how stable it was. It has scratching posts on it multiple. It has several different levels. It’s really tall. It reaches about seven or 8 feet. The different levels are awesome. The purchase and laying areas are really soft and cushiony. And the best part is that it can withstand both of them scratching on it, laying on it climbing. It allows them to escape my dogs attempts to play with them. They get to view all the cool things outside in my garden, like the birds, the squirrels, etc., and the best part is they instantly used it and I was really surprised. Gracie has stopped crying in the middle of the night the fights. The fight ended because they have multiple levels to lay on. And it will last me a long time. So I really am glad I bought it.

I wish the condo was high enough for the window
Excellent design and great size for an average size cat to feel comfortable. It's mostly wood material with removable pads so it's so easy to keep clean!!! Definitely not an heirloom. The quality is similar to Ikea furniture, so handle with care! The assembly instructions could use some improvement, I had to redo a few things to get it right. Two big (invisible) thumbs up from the cats

Nice and sturdy
It's a bit hard for our cat to get from level to level, but otherwise this is a good tree. Much more stable and durable than the previous tree we had.
