Best Cat Tree EVER
During my lifetime as a cat companion, I've always disliked cat trees. As a result, my cats have been deprived of having a fun way to scale new heights. Several of my cats tear up the cheap carpet (and some eat the fibers!). Cleaning up the torn rope bits can be annoying. I even had a cat who injured her paw ripping out a heavy duty staple. I set a firm, hard rule of NO CAT TREES...EVER! I recently adopted a young cat (3 yo) who loves to climb. His foster had the Vesper Cat Tree in her cat room for this little fella. I was intrigued by the sleek, modern design. I decided to invest in THIS cat tree for our new cat, and for our 16 yo cat to hopefully get some climbing time. The Vesper cat tree is like no other. It is ALL wood with seagrass scratchers (not cheap rope!) and memory foam pads. It stands a little over 48" tall and seems to blend into a well-lit area nicely. It was very easy to assemble, despite only IKEA-like instructions, and includes a very handy Allen wrench/screwdriver combo tool. The Vesper cat tree is sturdy and easy to move if needed. It's a bit more expensive than average carpet-laden cat trees, but well worth it. New kitty has a familiar place to nap, resident kitty is warming up to it, and I'm a happy kitty mama!

Amazing Cat Tree
This is the first cat tree I've ever purchased. I was really worried because I didn't like the fur trees(they looked weird to me) so finding a wooded one that had great reviews was awesome. I was also inclined to buy it because I have the Catit water fountain, and it's been a great buy for months now. My cats don't scratch the poles, so I won't have to worry about them getting torn up. My cats prefer cardboard scratchers. The assembly was super easy, though I did have my sister help me because my past experience with building things wasn't great. The Catit youtube video helped a lot, but the paper instructions were still needed. My cats fight over the top perch. They love it.

So great!
This was pretty easy to assemble and took me about 45 min. No tools required- it comes with the tool needed.Super modern look and very heavy/sturdy. I got this because I recently adopted a kitten and my older cat has been wanting to hide more or be up high. This got her out of her shell and immediately claimed the top porch as her own.And you can also order replacement pieces for this down the road FYI which is awesome. All porous/cozy surfaces are detachable and washable :) totally recommend. Cats love it!

Upgrade
I have purchase many of the cat trees and I will say this is one is a better one. I don’t understand why someone has not come out with a reasonable price one and and a sturdy one. The sturdier you go the price rises. All it is wood.

Sturdy & Worth the price
Great cat tree. Im typically not a fan since most are ugly and an eye sore. This one is actually nice, sturdy, and easy to assemble. My cats immediately knew what to do. It blends in pretty well and is not a messy fortress. It’s a good price. I can see it lasting for a long time. I haven’t bought one for years bc they’re mostly junk, but this one is good.

Instructions not great but beautiful when together
Instructions were brutal. But once together it is a beautiful piece that looks less like a cat tree and more like a piece of furniture. Sturdy. Love the removable/washable pads and the faux wood finishes for easy clean up! I would definitely recommend.

Good looking, cats love it
I only use Vesper cat furniture because I dislike all that ugly carpeted stuff that other brands use. Vesper furniture is way better looking and easy to clean. I see some review mentions HER tree got mold on it? But, I have used Versper cat furniture (I think I have 7 trees and boxes by Vesper) and not a one has ever had mold, and I live in humid Florida and have had these trees for Yearss. so do not be put off by that other review, maybe hers got wet while being shipped or something, but all of mine are fine.Cats love it. Easy to clean. The cats scratch this enough that I do not have to trim their nails, yay.

My cat loves it
My cat loves this cat tree. Her nails do get caught on the foam pad but it’s Velcro and I just removed that part. She plays with the toy part and even though she scratches it every day it still looks new.

Puddy Tat’s New Hang-Out - Approved!
Arrived the day after order. Was super easy for even an amputee with only 1 hand like me to put together in just over an hour and is very sturdy, only wobbling slightly even with 10kg of cat flinging himself at it with great vigour. The pads appear very comfortable as ‘His Lordship’ has taken to laying out full stretch on the upper deck pad and curled up on the pad fitted in the through and through box.He thoroughly enjoys the sisal scratching posts and the scratchy nature of the round fabric pad between the box and the top deck. The string and sisal balls have been given short shrift and are already at deaths door but that was always going to happen. The only thing I don’t care for or rather, I worry about is the metal post that sticks out from the upper deck like a metal ruler from which the string and balls dangle from. I do worry that, although it is blunt, the terrific speeds at which my boy throws himself at his ‘cat condo’ I worry that this metal prong sticking out could cause him an injury so I think I will remove the screws and take the metal prong off altogether, that wat there can be no worry for me and no high speed accidents for my lovely lad.Other than that, I’d recommend this item so far. I can not vouch for how heard wearing it is as we have only had it for a week, I will update this review in say, 6 months. All other cat trees, scratch posts etc have been rubbish and lasted no more than a couple of weeks with the exception of one rather expensive lotus flower cat tree from zooplus bought for him 3 years ago when I first got him. Despite being slightly chewed, it has lasted well and been the best one of the lot - until now.Merry Catmas Feline Fans. X

Brilliant piece of furniture
What a beautiful product. It took me a while to justify spending so much money on another scratching post but I’m glad I did. The quality is amazing and I love the removable fluffy mats which means cleaning is a breeze. Also, the actual scratching posts are sturdy and they are not going to be ruined within a few weeks or start unscrewing themselves until everything falls apart. My cat loves it and so do I. We have a new kitchen with oak windows and this piece of furniture fits there perfectly.

Beautiful but cat doesn’t use it for scratching
It is the most good looking cat tree i have ever owned. My cat is slow to warm up to it, she still won’t scratch it (she prefers her old tree for scratching) but hangs out in the cube or ok the top shelves every now and then.Update: after over 6 months, the cat tree is adopted. The top shelf in particular is a well liked spot - funnily enough she goes up there when she wants a brush session! My cat still prefers to scratch her old tree and I haven’t made efforts to switch her interest to this one, but it looks the material is not as “scratch attractive” to my cat.Update after 2 years: the toy balls fell apart after 1 year, even though she rarely plays with them. She still likes every now and then to go on top when she wants something, but she has never used it for scratching. Her old tree is now falling apart from over-scratching, and since she won’t touch this one I have to get her a new one.All in all it’s beautifully-made piece of cat furniture, but it’s never been good for its intended purpose: scratching.Update: I added a hammock to the tree and it’s been the perfect addition. My cat loves it. She still hasn’t scratched that tree since I got it (it’s been years), but it’s she’s been hanging out on top, in the little house and in the hammock depending on her mood.

sturdy, attractive, fairly easy to assemble
It is sturdy, well made, fairly easy to assemble and looks attractive. However, we had to customise it (by drilling some new holes) as our cat didn't like the way it is configured. We turned the cat box 90degrees so she could walk directly in from the lower platform, rather than sideways), and placed the top platform about 7cm backwards, so that she could jump from it to the box at a gentler angle. (She's not a great jumper and is getting older). There is a video on youtube for standard assembly instructions (in Spanish but easy to follow). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SgjmjC5EjZ0
